This is an open call to our colleagues and Young Researchers
Osteo Reels
If you have a new idea, research project or interesting topic in pediatricrheumatology, we invite you to respond to our call for a short video recording, 5 minutes long. The call is open till end of April 2026. All the submitted recordings will be reviewed by an independent panel and the best will be selected for presentation in our coming conference November 2026.

Great thanks and appreciation to all the eminent professors in pediatric and adult rheumatology from different Egyptian universities who shared us in the success of the 4th International Annual Conference of Pediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology of the EGYPTIAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY.

Very interesting and important topics were discussed during the conference with the eminent speakers who presented very informative and updated topics in all the conference sessions.

Participation of international professors
It is a great pleasure to share the very important participation of the eminent professors of pediatric rheumatology worldwide in the 4th International Annual Conference of Pediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology of the EGYPTIAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY.

Prof. Angelo Ravelli from Italy and his talk was about recent advances in pediatric rheumatic diseases.
Prof. Marco Gattrono from Italy and his talk was about undifferentiated recurrent fevers.
Prof. Lean Ward from Canada and her talk was novel treatment for pediatric rare bone diseases.
Also, Prof. Angelo Ravelli was one of the panelists in very interesting session about difficult cases in pediatric rheumatology.

We really appreciate their important contributions to this great conference.

A very important plenary session
during the 4th International Annual Conference of Pediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology of the EGYPTIAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY

Entitled: crosstalk between adult and pediatric rheumatology in antiphospholipid syndrome.

This session was led by our eminent professors of the panel
Prof. Dr Yasser Elmiedany
Prof. Dr Samia Salah
Prof. Dr Khaled Elhadidi
And moderated by
Dr. Asmaa Fathy

This session included a presentation for a case scenario of pediatric antiphospholipid, then a very interesting discussion with the panelists about the epidemiology, criteria of diagnosis, non criteria manifestations, seronegative antiphospholipid and guidlines of treatment in both pediatric and adult antiphospholipid syndrome.

Unique opening session for the 4th International Annual Conference of Pediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology of the EGYPTIAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY

The session opened with Prof. Yasser El-Miedany, who delivered an insightful overview of the college's activities and achievements in pediatric rheumatology in Egypt during this year with a special attention toward the transition of care to the adult service and the importance of working on Egyptian standards in pediatric rheumatic diseases.

Followed by very interesting lectures for our eminent professors. Prof Mohammed Mortada and his talk was about personalized medicine in JIA, Prof Mohammed Hassan and his talk was about the future of biologics in pediatric rheumatology, Prof Samar Tabra and her talk was resistant lupus nephritis in children: causes and strategic managment and Prof Yasser Elmiedany and his talk was transition of care to the adult service.

That was held under the auspices of the EGYPTIAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY on 27 November 2025 in Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis.𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 **U.E.M.S. – 𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑪𝑴𝑬** for Continuing Medical Education (CME).

It was such a great event that discussed recent updates in diagnosis and managment of different pediatric rheumatic diseases with a special attention toward the transition of care from to the adult service and Egyptian standards for pediatric rheumatology with our eminent professors in rheumatology and pediatric rheumatology from different Egyptian universities, Italy and Canada.
Great thanks to all professors and colleagues who shared us in this great conference.
