•Human Rights Champions since 2009: The Patients’ Rights Committee was established at The Behman. Dr Nasser Lozaspearheaded the passage of the new Egyptian Mental Health Law 71 in parliament, ensuring a much wider scope for patient rights.
•2005: 1st to have an ‘open-door’ policy instituted in The Behman’sAddiction Unit.
