The Egyptian Network of Neurodegenerative Diseases Welcome to The Egyptian Network of Neurodegenerative Diseases page.

We are group of Neurologists representing 15 Egyptian medical schools, Health insurance authority, researchers who are interested in brain research from the American University in Cairo (AUC), the German University in Cairo (GUC), Mansoura University Ophthalmology center.

التعايش والتأقلم مع فيروس الكورونا المستجد
يقوم معهد الدولي للصحة العامة بالجامعة الامريكية بالتعاون مع عدد من الاكاديمين في بعض الدول الغربية (الولايات المتحدة الامريكية، كندا،ايرلندا، نيوزيلاندا، المملكة المتحدة، النرويج، هولندا) بإجراء دراسة علي مستوي هذه الدول حول مدي قدرة الافراد علي التعايش مع الظروف التي فرضها فيروس الكورونا المستجد. ويسعي المعهد إلي تطبيق هذه الدراسة في المجتمع العربي.
فرض الانتشار الواسع لفيروس الكورونا المستجد ضرورة اتباع إجراءات التباعد الاجتماعي وما يقتضيه هذا التباعد من محدودية في الحركة والتنقل. قد اثرت هذه الإجراءات بشكل كبير علي نمط الحياة اليومية للعديد من الافراد وأسلوب عملهم وعلاقاتهم الاجتماعية. وقد يترتب علي هذ التغيرات زيادة الشعور بالوحدة والانعزالية بين افراد المجتمع. وتهدف الدراسة الحالية إلي التعرف علي مدي انتشار هذا الشعور في مجتمعاتنا.

الدراسات أوضحت أن إمكانية الإصابة بمرض باركنسون، المعروف علمياً بالشلل الرعاش، في المناطق الريفية بمصر أعلى من نظيراتها الأوروبية. شراكة بحثية مصرية ألمانية تحت عنوان (Environment–Gene–Interaction in Parkinson’s Disease) للوقوف على المسبِّبات البيئية والجينية للمرض.
