🇪🇸 Proposed Residency amnesty in Spain for 2026 to help all those who have found themselves in a irregular position without residency...

The Royal Decree has not yet been published but the draft proposal is now out. It is open to all nationalities, and expected to pass into law in April with applications closing at the end of June. So there is only a short window to apply.

It will grant an initial one year of residency, and will also help all those who have previously been denied residency.

Requirements -

Applicants must not have a criminal record or pose a threat to public order.
Applicants must demonstrate continuous residence for a minimum of 5 months before 31st December 2025 with documents such as padron, bank statements, medical registration, bills etc.

Anyone who believes they would qualify should start gathering evidence now, and arrange a criminal records check from their country of origin (ACRO police certificate with apostille and sworn translation for British citizens).

Just a little reminder...

If you are not yet state pensionable age (so entitled to the S1 reciprocal healthcare form) it is possible to access state healthcare through the convenio especial scheme.

The main stipulation is that you can demonstrate you have been actively living here for a minimum of 13 months (held residency). The monthly cost of this is €60.00 per month per person up to the age of 65 years, and €157.00 per month when 65 years and over.

It´s that time of year again where we are winding down for our Christmas, New Year, and 3 Kings holidays ☺️🎄
Our office will be closed from the 24th December, returning on the 7th January. However, we will be monitoring the emails as usual for any urgent matters throughout this period.

We would just like to wish all of our clients and friends, past and present, a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Our lovely clients Nia and Chris sent a photo after attending their appointment at BLS London to apply for their NLVs. All went well, and they were off for a well deserved drink! We look forward to seeing them soon with their visas 😊

As from Monday 30th June to the 1st September our office hours will be slightly changing due to the heat of the summer!

We will now be open from 09.30 until 2pm Monday to Friday.

August office shutdown - The office will be closed for summer holidays in the last week of August, from the 25th to the 31st inclusive.

Our office is now closed for the Easter bank holiday weekend, but we will be back in the office next Tuesday 22nd April.
