We are pleased to announce that we will be moving into the offices of ALO LEX-FIX SL in Arboleas as from the 1st April.

Whilst we continue to operate as two local well-established businesses, we will now be able to offer a more extensive range of services such as -

Initial visas, renewals, conveyancing, resident and non-resident tax returns, tax advice, driving licences, medical registrations, Wills & Inheritance, and much more.

It is a public holiday tomorrow for "Día de Andalucía", celebrating Andalucía's status as an autonomous community. The holiday is only for tomorrow, so we´ll be back in the office as usual on Monday.

OFFICE CLOSED FRIDAY 20/02 -

I have a mammoth day in the foreigners office in Almeria tomorrow, with my first appointments at 09.00 and going right through the day. Therefore unfortunately our office will be closed tomorrow (Friday morning). Apologies for any inconvenience, but we will be back in the office as normal on Monday.

🇪🇸 Proposed Residency amnesty in Spain for 2026 to help all those who have found themselves in a irregular position without residency...

The Royal Decree has not yet been published but the draft proposal is now out. It is open to all nationalities, and expected to pass into law in April with applications closing at the end of June. So there is only a short window to apply.

It will grant an initial one year of residency, and will also help all those who have previously been denied residency.

Requirements -

Applicants must not have a criminal record or pose a threat to public order.
Applicants must demonstrate continuous residence for a minimum of 5 months before 31st December 2025 with documents such as padron, bank statements, medical registration, bills etc.

Anyone who believes they would qualify should start gathering evidence now, and arrange a criminal records check from their country of origin (ACRO police certificate with apostille and sworn translation for British citizens).

Just a little reminder...

If you are not yet state pensionable age (so entitled to the S1 reciprocal healthcare form) it is possible to access state healthcare through the convenio especial scheme.

The main stipulation is that you can demonstrate you have been actively living here for a minimum of 13 months (held residency). The monthly cost of this is €60.00 per month per person up to the age of 65 years, and €157.00 per month when 65 years and over.

It´s that time of year again where we are winding down for our Christmas, New Year, and 3 Kings holidays ☺️🎄
Our office will be closed from the 24th December, returning on the 7th January. However, we will be monitoring the emails as usual for any urgent matters throughout this period.

We would just like to wish all of our clients and friends, past and present, a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Our lovely clients Nia and Chris sent a photo after attending their appointment at BLS London to apply for their NLVs. All went well, and they were off for a well deserved drink! We look forward to seeing them soon with their visas 😊
