Home… it means something different to each of us. This was a talking point brought to us this week inspired by an art exhibition in Villaflor hosted by of one of our members called ‘Hogar’ (link in comments)

For some, it’s a place — walls, a kitchen filled with familiar smells, a bed that knows your shape.
For others, it’s a feeling — safety, warmth, being truly seen and understood.

Many women build their lives far from where they started. Living abroad teaches us that “home” can exist in more than one place… or even within ourselves. It can be a quiet morning coffee, a deep conversation with a friend, or a space where you feel at peace in your own skin.

Sometimes, we create a home away from home, especially here— not just with things, but with people, memories, and moments that make us feel whole again.

Sometimes we quietly lose our spark — not all at once, but little by little. Life gets busy, responsibilities grow, and somewhere along the way, we stop checking in with ourselves.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your passion, your joy, or even who you are… you’re not alone. And it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Spending time with other women, especially those with life experience, can be incredibly grounding and inspiring. Conversations, shared stories, and different perspectives can gently guide you back to yourself — and even help you discover new passions and interests you didn’t know were there.
