This is one of the most common questions I get: “Why don’t you have a special version for women?”

The honest answer? Because “Women’s Protein” is just a marketing trick.

Here is the formula most brands use:
1ïžâƒŁ Take standard protein.
2ïžâƒŁ Put it in a smaller tub with cursive font. 🌾
3ïžâƒŁ Sprinkle in some cheap additives.
4ïžâƒŁ Charge 20% more.

It’s not physiology; it’s just marketing.

Your muscle fibres don’t care about the colour of the label. They care about Amino Acids.

You don’t need a specific “women’s version” to see results. You just need high-quality protein, period.

Does it matter where your protein comes from, as long as you hit your daily target?

The short answer: Yes.

Here is the science: Protein isn’t a single block; it’s a chain of amino acids. Some of those links are far more valuable to your body than others.

For muscle repair specifically, we need to look at Branched Chain Amino Acids—especially one called Leucine.

A cheap protein source might give you “20g of protein” on the label. 📉 But if it’s low in Leucine, your body won’t be able to use it efficiently to rebuild muscle.

Don’t just count the grams. Check the amino acid profile.

Walk into any supplement shop and you see two worlds: đŸ”„ “Beast Mode” for men. 🌾 “Slim & Tone” for women.

It’s a lie.

All muscle fibres need the same things to repair. To recover from a workout, they need, first and foremost: Rest and Nutrients — and among those, you guessed it: protein!

All a protein powder should provide is: 1ïžâƒŁ A high Protein content (>70%, or 70g per 100g, if vegan), with... 2ïžâƒŁ A Complete Amino Acid Profile, with... 3ïžâƒŁ Sufficient Leucine.

It doesn’t need random added vitamins and minerals or “skinny” blends designed to starve you.

This is the sweet spot between dessert and breakfast you didn’t know you were missing. It’s the ultimate lazy hack because you don’t even need to brew coffee — the WAM Protein Iced Coffee handles the flavour for you.

💡 Pro tip: Learn from my mistake in the video and use a glass big enough to handle your toppings so you don’t have to transfer it in the morning!

The Recipe:
- 240ml Soy milk
- 30g WAM Protein Iced Coffee
- 3 tbsp Chia seeds
- 1 tbsp Agave or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

Toppings:
- Soy yogurt
- Cocoa powder
- Cocoa nibs or chocolate chips

Method:
- Mix soy milk, WAM protein, chia seeds, and syrup.
- Crucial step: Wait 10 mins and stir again to break up clumps!
- Refrigerate overnight.

One of the reasons vegan protein gets questioned is leucine.

Leucine is a key amino acid involved in muscle protein synthesis - and plant proteins naturally contain a little less of it than some animal sources.

That doesn’t make plant protein inferior! It just means the formulation matters more.

WAM contains a little extra leucine so going plant-based doesn’t mean you have to micromanage your nutrition or stack supplements.

Creatine tends to come with a lot of unnecessary rules.

You don’t need a loading phase — taking around 3–5 g per day will lead to the same results over time.

You don’t need perfect timing — any time you remember within the day is fine.

You don’t need to work out every day to use it — creatine can support you at different training levels.

And forgetting it once or twice? That’s not the end of the world either — your creatine levels don’t drop to zero overnight.

Make creatine fit into your life — not the other way around.

In short: don’t overcomplicate it 😉
