La Microcirugía es una técnica de la que se sirven la patología quirúrgica como ciencia y de la cirugía como arte para resolver procesos patológicos imposibles de abordar por cirugía convencional

Para la práctica de la Microcirugía aprendemos a manejar material quirúrgico específico, mucho más fino y delicado que el utilizado en cirugía convencional, material de sutura más reducido, con agujas especiales, y fundamentalmente, material de magnificación y ampliación visual. La combinación de estas peculiaridades, apoyadas en metodología especial de control del temblor, asepsia del material microscópico, ergonomía de los diferentes participantes en el acto quirúrgico, etc., hacen que la técnica deba aprenderse de manera individualizada y desarrolla en el cirujano ciertas habilidades especiales. ES UNA TÉCNICA NECESARIA PARA CIERTAS ESPECIALIDADES QUIRURGICAS
Y OBLIGATORIA PARA TODOS LOS PROFESIONALES QUE SE DEDIQUEN A LA CIRUGIA...... PORQUE ......Esta técnica, imprime un carácter especial al cirujano, proporciona un adiestramiento (formación) básico en cirugía, dotando al cirujano que las domina de una serie de ventajas adicionales, como son: Seguridad en si mismo,
aumento de sus recursos técnicos, mayor precisión en las técnicas básicas de la cirugía y en definitiva el aprendizaje de esta técnica mejora el pronostico del paciente.
