I’m Alba Lozano, CEO of Polar Stride and an Olympic physiotherapist working with both human and equine athletes, with over 10 years of experience in high-performance sport.

Throughout my career at international shows and elite competitions, I have been consistently trusted to treat and optimize horses’ bodies and overall performance. However, I repeatedly observed a critical gap: the legs, one of the most vital and vulnerable structures, were often overlooked in daily therapeutic care.

The equine limb has immense biomechanical stress, absorbs continuous impact and plays a fundamental role in both performance and longevity. Yet, it has not received the same level of preventative and recovery-focused attention.
