Stasera 4 aprile alle 20 Rai Radio3 trasmette il nostro 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙡’𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙚 (Teatro Malibran, marzo 2025, per il trecentenario di Alessandro Scarlatti). Fu un vero “trionfo” per tutti, grazie ai fantastici team vocali e creativi che lo resero possibile. Io sarò in concerto qui in Olanda, ma non vedo l’ora di ascoltarlo più tardi.

This evening, 4th April at 8pm, will broadcast our 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙡’𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙚 (Teatro Malibran, March 2025, for the 300th anniversary of the death of Alessandro Scarlatti). It was a true “triumph” for everyone involved, thanks to the incredible vocal and creative teams who made it possible. I’ll be in concert here in the Netherlands, but I can’t wait to listen to it later.

Ad un anno dalla Matthäus Passion al Théâtre des Champs Élysées di Parigi, ritornerò a questo monumento con la Philzuid e un cast altrettanto stellare, per un tour olandese nella settimana di Pasqua. Se già dirigere una passione di Bach è per sé un rito, farlo nei paesi del Nord Europa avvicina ancora di più al cuore di quest’opera, grazie alla sacralità di una tradizione esecutiva assai sentita in Olanda.

One year since conducting the Matthäus-Passion at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, I return to this monumental work of the Bach repertoire alongside the Philzuid Orchestra and a distinguished cast, for a Dutch tour during Holy Week. If conducting one of Bach’s passions is already a ritual in itself, doing so in Northern Europe brings one even closer to the heart of this work, thanks to the deep-rooted and almost sacred performance tradition that is so strongly felt in the Netherlands.

Mahan Esfahani, toca en el FeMÀS Sevilla un programa titulado "Scarlatti y la Ilustración Española" que incluye, además del mencionado, obras de Cabanilles, Cantallops, Antonio Soler y CPE Bach. Será este domingo 22 en la sala Turina de Sevilla a las 20:00 horas.
