¿Alguna vez te has parado a pensar... respiro bien? 🌬️

Reserva tu plaza: WhatsApp 622 154 270

Ven y date un respiro. Literalmente 😌

Un fuerte abrazo,

Rafael

For years, I chased transformation like it was something I could buy.

The next workshop. The right technique. The perfect morning routine. The supplement stack that would finally fix me.

I kept thinking: if I just find the right thing OUT THERE, I'll finally feel whole.

But here's what I've slowly learned—

Transformation doesn't happen in a weekend retreat.

It doesn't come from a breakthrough experience or the latest wellness trend.

Real change happens in the unsexy, unglamorous work of showing up every single day.

It's in catching the defensive thought before it becomes words.

Setting a boundary when everything in you wants to people-please.

Sitting with uncomfortable feelings instead of reaching for distraction.

Your nervous system needs daily attention, not occasional big interventions.

The transformation industry wants you to believe you're broken and they have the fix.

But the truth?

You're not a project to be completed. You're not broken machinery in need of repair.

You're already whole—even with your wounds, your struggles, your unfinished business.

Growth isn't about fixing what's wrong with you.

It's about expanding your capacity to be with ALL of who you are.

You don't need to be transformed.

You need to come home to yourself.

And that happens in the patient, tender work of showing up, day after ordinary day, to the wholeness you already are.

In the spring of 2023, my dad, my brother, and I crossed the Atlantic on the Emma Linn—a 40-foot sailing yacht—from Puerto Rico to Cartagena, Spain, with a stop in the Azores.

The trip was gritty. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

Everything that could break, broke. The toilet. The sink. The anchor. Minimal levels of comfort. We scooped buckets of ocean water every day, in any condition, just to wash dishes. We hit a massive storm. Then windless days where the current pushed us backward and we floated like a rubber duck in the middle of the Atlantic.

My brother and I argued and fought regularly (love you bro!). Our dad lost so much weight we started hiding spoonfuls of butter in his food. I severely injured a finger. My brother got burned with boiling water. The propeller broke a week before the Azores. A bird found us during a storm, trying to shelter with us. He didn't make it. That broke my heart.

We slept in shifts, keeping watch through the nights. We got very little restful sleep.

But we also saw whales. An orca. We caught fresh fish and made sushi. The same pod of dolphins stayed with us for an entire week. We witnessed the most epic sunsets and sunrises you can imagine. And we ate the best dairy products ever in the Azores (important!).

Life is paradox. In the same adventure, at the same moment, pain and beauty coexist. One minute you're flying high, the next your engine breaks down, and a minute later you see a whale with her calf.

Our life hangs on a thread. Accidents happen. Disease and death happen. But the inverse is also true—luck, wonder, joy, falling in love with your life or a person, all the beautiful things can arrive randomly, spontaneously.

The point being: stay open. Be present with what is. Do your best and squeeze as much life out of life as you can.

Set your sail, set your compass. Without a direction, no wind is favorable. Then simply navigate with whatever life offers you.

Sail and be sailed. Live and be lived.

To feeling alive, and to conquering the useless.

Many clients come to me describing flatness. Numbness. A sense of disconnection—like they're moving through life but not quite feeling it.

But here's what I often see—especially with men—the numbness isn't from collapse. It's from constant vigilance. From people who function beautifully on the surface but never rest underneath.

They don't break, snap, or rage outwardly. They simply... hum. Flat notes. No overtones. No resonance. No singing. No dancing.

The armor is called doing. Being busy. Being productive. Being on.

And beneath it: a nervous system that forgot how to soften.

I know this person. I've been this person. Sometimes I am this person.
(And it never feels great to be in this place, especially for too long.)

There's a place for tension. For structure. For showing up.
But aliveness doesn't come from tightening the string further.

It comes from learning when to release.
When to slow down enough to soften into your body, your heart, your breath.
When to rest—not as a reward, but as a requirement.

This is where numbness transforms.
Not by doing more.
By finally allowing yourself to feel.

New York..
The city with more AirPods than people :)

Thank you for your streets, your corners, your shops, your beautiful (and quirky) people and your golden sunset light. You have been a delight and a surprise.

Thank you Denise for your warmest welcome.
After 5 years off Zooms, online trainings and calls, we finally meet in person. So grateful for our shared journey. Big love :)

Starting to feel ready to get back home, put my bare feet in the sand and plunge my face under salty water.

Feeling blessed with these last 2 weeks of travel. The immersion in a new place, new pace, new people creates a wonderful and almost unexpected dialogue with ourselves. Who we were, who we are in the process of becoming, and a new conversation with our future.

Thank you.

"I want to let go."

I've heard these words thousands of times across my years facilitating bodywork and breathwork. They arrive like a prayer, a plea, sometimes barely a whisper. But here's what I've learned: when someone says they want to let go, they're rarely asking for what they think they're asking for.

They're asking for permission to finally feel.

We carry unfelt feelings the way a house carries shadows—unavoidable, always present, shifting with the light but never truly gone. These emotional archives don't simply fade with time. They embed themselves in the architecture of our nervous system, creating patterns of dysregulation that shape how we move through the world.

Here's the paradox that defines so much of the human experience: we simultaneously ache to feel and are terrified of feeling. We want the relief that comes from emotional completion, but we resist the discomfort required to get there.

There's a subconscious belief many of us carry: If I let this feeling in, I'll drown in it. If I open the door to my sadness, I'll never stop crying.

After working with thousands of clients, I can tell you unequivocally: this fear is unfounded. An emotion fully felt is an emotion that completes its cycle.

You don't let go of your feelings. You let go by feeling them.

Without beauty, life slips past us unseen.
It is one of life’s great gifts—offered by nature, offered by our humanness.

Beauty is the birthright of having our senses wide open.
It’s in the shape of a drifting cloud.
In the colors of sunrise and sunset.
In poetry read aloud, in music that stirs the heart.
In a child at play, or a conversation that touches the soul.

Beauty is curiosity.
The way a question can light us up.
It is also wisdom—those moments of clarity when we truly See something for what it is, when insight lands and something shifts inside us.

How do we arrive there?
We breathe in.
We slow down.
We close our eyes—not to shut the world out, but with the urgent desire to open them again, wide enough to let the beauty of life rush in.
Because what is life, if not the journey back to beauty?

After a short pause, I’m excited to invite you back to a new Breathwork Session on Sunday, October 5th.

This time, we’ll gather around the theme of welcoming ourselves — even the parts that often feel left out.

Breathwork is a practice of coming back into the body and meeting our feelings. As the breath deepens, the mind quiets, and we find a steadier, more grounded connection with ourselves.

In this session, we’ll move, breathe, and soften into stillness — opening space to find ease and clarity within.

I’m grateful to be joined by Edgar Bobb ,a dear friend and skilled breathwork coach, who will assist and guide us throughout the session.

✨ When: Sunday, October 5th at 10:30 AM
📍 Where:
💫 Exchange: €35

Spots are limited — reserve your place early to be part of this powerful morning together.

With love, clarity, and joy,
Raf
