The Osteothai Vitality Boost training with Almuth Kramer gave me so many new techniques and insights. From cranial and structural osteopathy to Thai massage, I now feel fully equipped to help my clients experience more balance, relaxation, and vitality. 🌿

Even more special: sharing this experience with 12 amazing women, and learning from Almuth’s exceptional knowledge and warmth. 🙏✨

📍 Meridians in Your Neck – What’s Flowing There?

Did you know that, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), several meridians (energy pathways) run through your neck? These play a key role in tension, headaches, and fatigue.👇

🌀 1. Bladder Meridian (BL)
↳ Runs along the spine
🔹 Issues: neck stiffness, back pain, fatigue, nervous tension

🌀 2. Gallbladder Meridian (GB)
↳ Flows along the side of the neck to the shoulder
🔹 Issues: tension headaches, tight shoulders, dizziness

🌀 3. Du Mai (Governing Vessel)
↳ Runs along the midline of the spine up to the head
🔹 Issues: immune imbalance, overheating, neck pain

🌀 4. Large Intestine Meridian (LI)
↳ Runs from the hand to the side of the neck
🔹 Issues: sore throat, voice problems, stiff neck

✨ When these meridians are blocked or out of balance, you may experience physical or emotional discomfort. Zen Shiatsu can help restore the flow.

Long ago, in ancient Japan, there lived a wise shiatsu master named Haruki. He believed that the body had a river of energy, the Ki, that flowed through invisible pathways, the meridians. On these pathways were special places, like gates, where the energy was more palpable — the tsubos, or acupuncture points.

When someone was ill or out of balance, Haruki could feel these points with his hands: some were warm, others cold, and some seemed to whisper. By gently pressing these points with his fingers, he would get the Ki moving again. In this way, headaches, fatigue, or sadness would disappear like mist in the morning sun.

Haruki taught his students that every point had a story. One point on the foot, called Yongquan, could bring peace to a restless heart. Another point near the shoulder, called Jianjing, released stuck worries.

And to this day, shiatsu therapists feel these points, listen to their whisper, and use gentle pressure to bring body and mind back into harmony.
