When I pull oracle cards for myself or for a client, it’s never about future predictions or being told what to do. It’s about letting go of the outside influences be it fear, confusion or heartache, to feel into the heart and tune into what is going on emotionally and energetically. The cards tell a story… they share the underlying truth that quite often, we just havent heard for ourselves because our head is too full or we don’t want to hear it. Yes, we all want reassurance and guidance, but we also have to be brave enough to face ourselves and listen to what’s going in internally. This is what the cards highlight and it’s from that place of true acceptance that we can move forward and grow.
I use own Illumination Oracle deck and also Cher Lyn’s Mystic Art Medicine deck… and love this combination. Doing this reading for myself on the beach was a beautiful experience… I had called in the energy of the Goddess of the seas, Iemanja, when I went in for a swim… and then lo and behild she reappeared in the Grace card. Magic happens when you open up to it.

When your last healing client of the day lives on the beach… a paddle is most definitely a must! Today was my first day back in full ‘healer’ mode and my heart is soaring! Such gratitude to the souls today … while they received channelled energy, light, frequencies and support with the very much felt ‘boost from upstairs’… I received affirmation after affirmation while I was in trance, of YES, it really is time to be back on my path and purpose.

I can’t explain why there has been such a pull to be around horses. As a very young child I remember feeling such a deep love with a big white horse as I continually tried to clear the flies from his eyes while standing on the fence and being utterly heartbroken when it was time to leave. I remember begging to learn to ride… went to 2 lessons and all I could feel was sadness as the ponies were led around and around the arena with blank, empty eyes. I vividly remember being charged by the neighbour’s pony and being put to the ground and so severly bitten that my whole side turned black and blue. And all this was before I was even 10 years old. After that bite… the fear set in and I felt heartbroken and guilty. It stayed with me for the next 40 odd years. Then 4 years ago, the healing began. Firstly at Jacobs Ridge Animal Sanctuary where Julian and Rachel helped me be around their herd… and secondly through my studies and experiences in becoming a Trust Technique practitioner for horses and small animals. I used the TT process on myself to release my trauma response to being around horses. And it worked.

The pull to connect, communicate, learn, open and explore my connection with horses became an intense yearning that I couldnt ignore … and it led me to The 2 Grey Mares and to meeting Monica and Rachel… which then led me to the mindblowing and heart opening day of ReWilding at Windchaser Ranch - Colonial Spanish Mustangs Spain and to offering a merging of my energy healing and transformational work, with the healing horses share so freely with us.

I am deeply honoured to be hosting LOVE HORSES LOVE YOURSELF in collaboration with the herd at Finca El Algarrobo, Mijas Costa and Monica, founder of The Softer Approach. As I mentioned in my recent post… I feel my work is shifting and changing. Last year I qualified as a Trust Technique practitioner, which is working with mindfulness with animals and their owners… but I still wanted more….to go deeper into the energy and animal connection... and for it to be uniquely personal and healing. I’ve been especially drawn to horses for as long as I can remember but have never been comfortable with the traditional approach towards these incredible sentient souls. In fact my stomach churns when I think of how many are treated in the domestic and competitive worlds. But the flow around this yearning and need for respectful heart alignmnet with horses has been quite incredible! People showed up… opportunities showed up… my heart jumped and I knew I had to do this.

So on Tuesday I travelled north up to the beautiful mountainous surrounds of Barcelona and yesterday became a life changing, personal day of ReWilding and healing at Windchaser Ranch - Colonial Spanish Mustangs Spain.

This was a very special moment caught on video. Learning to connect and invite a horse to walk with you, using just your energy amd body language. Rachel Windchaser is an incredible coach, as you can hear in this video and her knowledge and life long experience in ethical equine communication built on mutual respect and trust, allows this special herd to live a natural life on the ranch.

Charlie Lakota Windchaser is the founding horse, a pure Spanish Mustang and I will be sharing more about this internationally renowned and rare herd.

One thing I’ve learnt over the last 6 months, is that you absolutely have to listen to your body. After my tours of taking the channelled healing circles around Scotland and Ireland last autumn, I hadn’t appreciated how burnt out I was… autumn 2024 turned into Spring 2025, and I still couldnt go into trance to hold the intense vibration of the Collective.
I was even concerned that I wouldnt be able to hold space on my Conscious Unity Safari Retreats this March.

But this is the magic that unfolded. We became a smaller group than normal… and it was all women. The retreat became a sacred transformational space of becoming free within oursleves… of breaking through old inhibitions… of stepping out of the ‘good girl’ archetype and into the inner wild woman that is untamed, uninhibited, sovereign in her power and radiant with unconditional love.

My own retreat, became medicine for my own soul. It was like being plugged back in to Mother Earth and the Universe … rediscovering the bliss of connection with life, my heart and our world. Amazing up close encounters with wild elephants and swimming with wild dolphins in the Indian Ocean reawakened me, as much as it did our wonderful guests.

And witnessing all the women move through their own journeys and breakthroughs filled my heart and reignited my purpose and path as a healer.

So, I’m stepping back up and in. My work will be slightly different now … and there are exciting new offerings that include in person healing with horses (and mini retreat in October) … as well as channelled healing meditations and of course Conscious Unity Safari Retreat is already up and running for April 2026.

Getting ready!!! The energy is coming in and Africa is calling me home… Conscious Unity Safari Retreats starts on Thursday in South Africa…. and the packing has begun … swimming with wild dolphins… opening our hearts to the herds of wild elephants… drumming… energy healing… animal connection… sundowners… cocktails… sunrise walks in the bush and on the beach… the call of the wild and the call of the land…. unspoilt nature… trust… peace… pure presence … crystals… oracle cards… sisterhood… love…. and FUN!!! ❤️👏🐘🐬💃🏻✨

One of my greatest loves in my work, is hosting my annual Conscious Unity Safari Retreat… and I’m so delighted that our April 2026 retreat now has a new enhanced itinerary including a night in the World Heritage site of iSimangaliso Wetlands Reserve. This includes an unobtrusive intimate sunset cruise amongst the large number of wild hippos living in the estuary… as well as enjoying the luxuries of a superb guest house and dinner out in the quaint town… where the hippos often wander freely too.
Come and enjoy an adventure of a lifetime as we swim with wild dolphins, encounter wild elephants up close in the bush, snorkel over coral reefs, marvel at wild lions, giraffes and leopard… and dive deep into our hearts and connection with nature.

One of my greatest loves in my work, is hosting my annual Conscious Unity Safari Retreats in Southern Africa And I am super excited that in April 2026 we are now enhancing the itinerary to include a night in the World Heritage Site of iSimangaliso Wetlands Reserve... with a gentle sunset cruise amongst the large numbers of wild hippos that live in the estuary. It is utterly blissful to quietly observe them as they go about their everyday lives... and after our days immersing in swimming with wild dolphins and experiencing up close encounters with wild elephants... it's a beautiful way to spend the last night of the retreat together. The retreat will also now start and finish in Durban, ensuring wonderfully easy and comfortable transitions in and out of the Conscious Unity bubble.

Tonight’s musings. It’s so very easy to lose yourself in this crazy world. From the depths of fear fuelled conspiracy spirals to the avoidance of cognitive dissonance and the utter disbelief rooted in old ingrained patterns and collective beliefs. It’s easier to block off your heart… to not feel… to not hear or see and to hunker down into ‘normality’. Sometimes being numb, is the healing. Sometimes, feeling the overwhelm is the healing. Sometimes hearing the message is the healing. Sometimes the unexpected and the challenge is the healing… or the much needed but unwanted wake up call is the healing. Sometimes the Divine will pierce your heart with so much love that tears flow and you know beyond knowing, that you are so much more than your name, job and what you had for breakfast. And sometimes, you just won’t have a frikking clue as to what’s going on, or who you are or what you’re meant to be doing or being. But… isn’t this why we’re here? To discover… to experience… to feel… and to return to love.
No matter what you’re moving through.. that Divine and infinite part of you that can’t be proven, is still there loving you, encouraging and guiding you. Let that inexplicable, unexpected flow in and allow yourself to feel. At some point, that thick protective wall around your heart will crack open and you will begin to experience experiences that show you, that you are a beautiful, infinite and magical being of love… even on a ‘puffy eyed, bad hair day.’
