Sound has always been my fastest way out of overthinking. 👇
When the mind spirals, trying to think your way out rarely works.
Because thinking is the problem.
✨ Sound interrupts the mental loop
Sustained tones from crystal bowls give the brain something steady to anchor to. Instead of chasing thoughts, your awareness rests in vibration.
✨ Vibration regulates the body first
Before the mind quiets, the body softens.
Sound travels through fluid and tissue, helping shift the nervous system out of stress mode and into a calmer state. When the body feels safe, thoughts naturally slow down.

There was a recently time, when my life got quite busy. Really busy.
It marked being NON STOP for 1,5 month… Retreat-businesstravel-retreat-business travel.

I tell you- I don’t think I experience overthinking and insomnia like this before in my life.
Every singe evening, being tired after, I would lie in another hotel bed, close my eyes and…think. Running through my to-do list, on repeat with questioning my life’s choices.. And I found a perfect remedy for it: Journaling

-Reduces overthinking – Getting thoughts out of your head and onto paper creates mental space.
-Improves sleep quality – Clears mental loops that keep you awake.
-Emotional release – Helps process feelings instead of suppressing them.

Here are 3 simple ways to use it 👇

1. 5 minutes of 432Hz or 528Hz listening
Put headphones on. Close your eyes.
Choose steady, tonal music tuned to 432Hz or 528Hz. The consistent frequency gives your brain something predictable to entrain to, helping shift from high-alert beta waves toward calmer alpha states.
Less mental noise = lower stress signalling.

2. Hum on a low tone (your own frequency)
Take a deep inhale and hum slowly on the exhale for as long as possible.
Low, steady humming creates vibration in the chest, throat, and skull — stimulating the vagus nerve and encouraging parasympathetic activation.
Longer exhale + vibration = reduced cortisol output.

3. Crystal bowl bath (live or recorded)
Crystal bowls produce sustained, layered tones that the nervous system can “sync” with. Within minutes, heart rate slows, breath deepens, and muscle tension softens.
The body receives a clear signal: you are safe.
Stress hormones drop when the body feels safe.

Here are 3 signs it’s time to pause 👇

1. Tired but wired

Exhausted, yet sleep feels shallow. You wake up early, mind racing, planning before your day even starts. Or my typical one- the moment I land in bed in the evening, suddenly, I'm wide awake.

2.Front-body tension
Jaw clenched, shoulders rounded, hip flexors gripping, breath shallow. This braced posture is your body preparing for threat. Even if physically, your just watching Netflix on your couch

3. Overreacting (or numb)
Tiny triggers feel huge. You snap, cry, or shut down easily. Your window of tolerance is just none.
Pushing works short term.
Regulation restores energy, clarity, and resilience — so action becomes intentional instead of reactive.
Pause. Soften. Reset. 🤍

Try these 3 poses to shift your state from contraction to courage 👇

When we feel anxious, scared, or overwhelmed, the body instinctively curls forward.
Chest collapses but also our hip flexors tighten (getting us ready for a sprint !)

As the body launches protective protocol, our posture changes in the way, that we protect our organs and are ready to run. And this is us in survival mode. Even though there isn’t any realistic physical threat ( I really hope no one has to run away from some tiger nowadays)

Here’s how I’ve been reversing this pattern:

✨ Cobra (Bhujangasana)
By lifting the heart and opening the front body, Cobra counteracts the hunched “protection” posture. It expands the rib cage, allowing deeper breathing and stimulating the branch of the nervous system responsible for activation and forward movement. This can help shift you out of freeze and into empowered action.
✨ Virasana (Hero Pose)
Virasana lengthens the quadriceps and hip flexors — areas that tighten when we brace against fear. When the hips soften, the nervous system softens too.
✨ Eka Pada Supta Virasana (One-Legged Hero Pose)
This deeper variation intensifies the release through the hip flexors and front thighs while encouraging an upright, open chest. The lift through the sternum promotes fuller breath and energizes the body, supporting confidence and courage.

From contraction to expansion.
From fear to forward movement.

Postures that create space across the chest and hips naturally encourage activation, clarity, and the willingness to step ahead.
