Treatment of dizziness depends on the causes that caused it and the degree of manifestation of the disease, it is carried out after examination by a doctor, diagnosis. In no case should you self-medicate, you can harm the body and miss time, which in some cases is a factor determining the chance of a full recovery. Treatment can be outpatient or inpatient, depending on the severity of the disease.
For the treatment of pathology, special tablets for dizziness are prescribed:
drugs to improve the functioning of the vestibular apparatus (Betahistine hydrochloride);
drugs that improve blood circulation in the brain (Vinpocetine, Mexidol);
drugs that improve metabolism (vitamins of group B, magnesium, Actovegin);
drugs that improve the functioning of nerve cells (choline alfoscerate, piracetam, glycine).
In more severe cases, almost the same drugs are used as drugs for dizziness, but in the form of injections or droppers. Medicines for the treatment of the underlying disease, physiotherapy, massage, physiotherapy exercises, psychotherapy sessions are also added.
