Sun allergy includes several conditions that cause skin reactions after exposure to sunlight or UV radiation. The most common symptom is a rash accompanied by itching and redness.

Today is World Skin Cancer Awareness Day. On this day, we remember the importance of protecting our skin and being alert to possible signs of this disease.

🔍 How can you take care of your skin and detect possible problems early? Remember the ABCDE rule.

A - Asymmetry: Observe if a mole is symmetrical in shape or if one half is different from the other.

B - Irregular edges: Notice if the edges of a mole are blurred or poorly defined.

C - Varied color: Pay attention to the diversity of colors within a mole.

D - Diameter: If a mole is larger than 6 mm in diameter, consult a physician.

E - Evolution: Watch for any changes in size, shape, color or symptoms such as itching, bleeding or pain.

🔍 Prevention and early detection of skin cancer are key in the fight against this disease. So 👉🏼 remember: protect your skin from the sun, combine oral and topical photoprotection, and go to the dermatologist.
