💙 Social activities for young autistic people 💙

I’m looking to start a social group for autistic Level 1 / Asperger-profile teens and young people on the Costa del Sol. The aim is to offer those who find socialising or building friendships challenging the possibility to meet others, develop social confidence and connect safely through different interest-based activities.

I’m posting here to see how many families might be interested before organising the first meet-up.

Neonoo just launched their Ulule campaign to co-design therapeutic tools for neurodiverse children.

Neonoo builds screen-free therapeutic tools and games using movement, sound, and touch to help children focus, self-regulate and reconnect.

Prototypes have been tested with families and therapists in Spain

They're opening 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗯 and looking to collect €𝟳,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 this 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻. The Living Lab is a space where families, therapists, and designers come together to:

✷ Co-create new therapeutic games from real needs
✷ Test and iterate tools with the people who'll actually use them
✷ Build a library of embodied learning methods anyone can access

⚗ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗨𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 is looking to fund:
→ The Living Lab space and first co-creation sessions

→ A Buy One / Give One model: so access doesn't depend on income

ALTERNATIVE SCHOOLING for neurodivergent kids in Secondary Education

I’m hoping to connect with local parents who are exploring better-fitted educational pathways for their children.

So many neurodivergent young people struggle to fit within traditional secondary education — not because they lack ability, but because the system often isn’t built for the way they learn, connect, or regulate.

If your child is struggling to cope, disengaging from school, or you simply feel that the current environment isn’t right and would like to explore alternative options, feel free to reach out.

Exactly this: regulation first, reasoning later.

You can’t reason with a brain in “fight, flight or freeze” mode. When a child feels threatened and goes into defense mode, control and punishment only deepen the distress. What truly helps is safety, connection and calm ... that’s where learning and growth begin.

Dysregulation blocks reasoning. A child can’t own mistakes, even less apologise, until they’ve calmed down. And feel safe.

You can’t reason with a raging heart—pause, breathe, then guide.

A family planning to relocate to Marbella in July 2026 is looking for a kind, patient German-speaking tutor to home-school their 10-year-old autistic child (Level 1 – Asperger’s).

They’re hoping to find someone who truly understands autism and ideally have a background in psychology or special education .
