WELLNESS GOLF ⛳ : ¿Hielo o Calor? No te la juegues al azar 👍

¿Alguna vez has terminado un recorrido con una molestia repentina en el codo o una rigidez incómoda en la espalda?

A menudo surge la gran duda: "¿Me pongo hielo o la bolsa de agua caliente?" 🤔

Equivocarse en esta elección no es solo un detalle; puede marcar la diferencia entre una recuperación rápida o agravar una inflamación. Como fisioterapista y maestra de golf, veo a diario cómo pequeñas dudas pueden convertirse en grandes problemas si no se gestionan a tiempo.

Aquí tienes una guía rápida basada en mi último artículo para Andalucía Golf / España Golf :

❄️ HIELO (Crioterapia): Intervención Aguda
Se utiliza ante un dolor punzante que aparece de repente durante el swing o la práctica.

Por qué: Provoca vasoconstricción, reduciendo el flujo sanguíneo, la hinchazón y actuando como un analgésico local temporal.

Cómo: Aplícalo de 10 a 15 minutos, cada 2 o 3 horas, siempre protegido para evitar quemaduras en la piel.

🔥 CALOR (Termoterapia): Sobrecarga y Rigidez
Ideal para esos dolores sordos, tensiones musculares o cuando sientes el cuerpo "atentado" tras el esfuerzo.

Por qué: Genera vasodilatación, aumentando el flujo sanguíneo, el oxígeno y relajando los tejidos.

Cuándo: Es excelente para calentar músculos rígidos antes de jugar, pero NUNCA lo apliques sobre una zona que presente hinchazón o enrojecimiento.

Mi filosofía es clara: "Feel better, Live better". No ignores esos "pequeños dolores", porque entender la naturaleza de tu molestia es el primer paso para jugar sin limitaciones.
