Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as "tapping," is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of acupuncture and psychology. It involves tapping on specific points on the body, usually with your fingertips, while focusing on and addressing emotional issues or physical discomfort.
Tapping on these acupressure points while verbalizing your emotional distress, can assist you to release negative emotions and alleviate physical symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, or trauma. It's often used as a self-help technique but can also be administered by trained practitioners.
