Tattoo removal happens gradually as the body breaks down and clears ink particles after each session.
Slide 1 Before treatment and after 3 sessions
Slide 2 The tattoo is assessed for ink color, depth, skin type, and location. These factors determine settings and number of sessions needed.
Slide 3: Immediately After Treatment
Redness, swelling, and “frosting” (white discoloration) are normal reactions. The laser shatters ink into microscopic particles for the immune system to remove.
The area may feel hot, like a sunburn
• Redness, swelling, and frosting (white haze) are normal
• Tender to the touch
• Keep it clean, dry, and protected
Day 3–5
• Scabbing or blistering may appear
Day 6–10
• Scabs begin to fall off naturally
• Skin may feel itchy or dry
• Tattoo will start to look lighter or patchy
Slide 4: Healed & Ready for Next Session
Skin has fully healed and visible fading is present. Ink continues to fade for weeks. Sessions are spaced out to allow proper healing and maximum ink clearance.
Weeks 2–6
• Skin heals on the surface
• Your body is breaking down and removing ink particles
• Fading continues even though nothing is visible on the outside
