APRIL 🌞 You’ve been spring we needed!

April in three words:

Laura: Savouring the small 🌿

Nikita: Sunshine, Spring-ing, Fun ☀️

A few things we’ve been enjoying this month:

Laura: Sunshine, walking about in a t-shirt, the blossom arriving, a white dipper on a Scottish river, an old labradors snores, a cheese tasting education, an Aperol or two!

Nikita: Travelling a bit and catching up with friends. Spending lots of time outside in the sunshine. Some lovely meals out. Getting back into running. Retreat prep and 2027 planning. Working with clients and seeing them do incredible things. Grateful for spring!

LIVE: Mid Week Reset (5 classes)
A gentle way to start your Wednesdays.

Join us for five live 30-minute morning sessions at 7am designed to ease tight backs, release stiff shoulders, improve posture and wake your body up before the day begins.

No pressure. No intense workouts. No fitness level required.

Just simple movement to help you feel better in your body.

This is for the woman who is one more ‘quick question’ away from throwing her phone in a drawer and leaving the country for 4 days.

You’ve been available for too long.

Too reachable.
Too needed.
Too many tabs open.
Too many people wanting your attention, time, brainpower, the lot.

The kind of tired that comes from being slightly stretched for too long.

This is your reminder that needing space is not a bad thing.
Wanting quiet is not avoidance.
And disappearing somewhere warm for a few days is not dramatic. It’s sensible. And probably long overdue.

Our 2027 retreat dates are coming soon.

A few days in a beautiful place.

You’re not stuck.

You’re just in a loop your brain knows really well.

You have that feeling something needs to change.
Work, life… something just doesn’t feel right anymore.

And straight away your brain jumps in with:

“What if I fail”
“What if it doesn’t work out”
“What if I’m not actually good enough”

So you leave it.
Tell yourself you’ll come back to it when you feel more ready.

And then time passes.
Months. Sometimes longer than you expected.

You stay where you are.

Not because you can’t change things.
But because the question never changes.

It’s often:
“What if it goes wrong?”
“What if I mess it up?”

But what if you changed it, and asked:

“What if it works”
“What if I actually enjoy this”
“What if I can deal with whatever comes with it”
“What if this is the direction I’m meant to go in”

Something a bit more balanced.
A bit more honest.

Because most of the time, it’s not that you wouldn’t cope.

It’s that your brain is only showing you one version of how it could go.

This is the kind of thing we work through in 1:1 sessions.
Not just changing the thought, but understanding why it shows up and how to actually move through it.

We can be really self aware and still feel stuck.

People come to therapy & coaching and they don’t necessarily need to find a new insight into themselves or what’s happening for them. But the process of saying how they feel out loud and having someone actually hear you helps something shift.

These modalities offer a space where you can feel seen and supported.

We are both very happy to have a discovery call with you if you feel you need a little more support but are not sure where to start.

We all do it.

Think it.
Say it.

You get that feeling something needs to change.
Work, life, something just doesn’t feel right anymore.

And straight away, your brain goes to:

“What if I fail”
“What if it doesn’t work out”
“What if I’m not actually good enough”

So you park that thought.
Tell yourself you’ll come back to it when you feel more ready.

And then times goes by. Months, or maybe years pass.

And you just stay where you are.

And the same question crops up.
“What if it goes wrong?”
“What if I fail?”

But what if.. you flip it. And ask:

“What if it works”
“What if I actually enjoy it”
“What if I can handle whatever comes with it”
“What if that’s the life I’m supposed to be living”

Not in a forced ‘think-positive’ kind of way, just something a bit more balanced, honest and real.

Because most of the time, it’s not that you can’t cope with it. It’s that your brain is only showing you one side of the story.

This is the kind of thing we work through in our 1:1 sessions.
Not just changing the thought, but understanding where it comes from and how to move through it.

You stop thinking about what you should be doing, or what’s waiting for you back home

and you realise…no one needs anything from you right now.

You can just be here.

That’s the feeling people don’t realise they’ve been missing.
