The University of Salamanca recently hosted the first European Medical Education Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Society, marking the end of the European AIIS Project.

This innovative initiative, funded by EACEA, aimed to enhance soft skills and digital skills ( ) among medical students.

Led by the University of Salamanca and a consortium of five universities, three companies, and a research center across Europe, this conference was open to students, professionals, and anyone interested in the convergence of medical education, AI, innovation, and society.

🚀 Exciting News! We are proud to unveil the results of Pilot, a groundbreaking initiative for the Future of Medicine. We've gone above and beyond our goals in training medical students in and .

✅ Surpassing Goals: We initially engaged 310 enthusiastic medical students, 300% more than the initial goal, and 101 of them have successfully completed the program, 200% more than the initial goal!

🌐 Innovative Learning Framework: AIIS sets a new standard for medical education, integrating AI and Soft Skills seamlessly.

👩‍⚕️ Equipping Future Healthcare Leaders: We're preparing our medical students with the skills they need to excel in an evolving healthcare landscape.
