Gonçalo Resende

Speaker announcement! 📣

Gonçalo grew up on dropzones, surrounded by parachutes and aircraft.
By the age of 12, he was already packing parachutes and editing tandem videos, laying the foundation for his passion for flying and visual storytelling.

Today, Gonçalo is a world class skydiver, coach of the Frickflyers Junior Freefly Team, and an athlete whose greatest passion is canopy piloting.
He constantly pushes his limits, with a clear goal - reaching the world podium.

At the symposium, he will share his experience, his approach to canopy piloting development and the journey from growing up on a dropzone to becoming a professional athlete.

Hoy en día, Gonçalo es un paracaidista de nivel mundial, coach del equipo Frickflyers Junior Freefly y un atleta cuya mayor pasión es el canopy piloting. Trabaja constantemente en el desarrollo de sus habilidades, con un objetivo claro: alcanzar el podio mundial.

✨ A Unique Event at the Symposium ✨

On the evening of the first day of the Symposium, we invite you to something truly special - the world premiere of the film about the world record: “400” 🎬

The director and producer of the film is Gulcin Gilbert, one of the participants of this historic record.
Through her story, she presents the record from many perspectives: organizers, participants, camera flyers, pilots and local organizers in Thailand.

The film reveals previously unknown stories that would be hard to believe if they hadn’t actually happened.

After the screening, there will also be a short Q&A session, during which Gulcin will answer questions that arise while watching the film.

Neil Wilcox 🎤
Speaker announcement! 📣

At the upcoming Symposium, we are pleased to welcome Neil Wilcox - an experienced instructor and examiner associated with UPT and CPS, currently based in DeLand, Florida.

Neil holds all USPA Examiner ratings, is a USPA Examiner Rating Course Director (ERCD), a Master Parachute Rigger, and an IBA Tunnel Instructor. He previously served in the British military, which has significantly shaped his approach to training, responsibility and safety procedures.

During the Symposium, Neil will present:
