🙏🏼La naturaleza es un lugar maravilloso para hacer yoga y meditar, sobre todo las montañas. Adoro la energía y el poder de las montañas de Asturias y Andalucía especialmente. Tienen un poder que te lleva más allá de los límites que tiene la mente en el día a día.

🧡Las vistas desde nuestro pequeño “templito” de meditación en nuestra azotea de yoga en Calahonda. Las “vistas”, o formas de ver las cosas, siempre existen en nuestras mentes y nuestras vidas. 💫Movement into our future, towards our happiness, to new amazing experiences, is always done with the help of our feet. Our feet are also used extensively in the practice of yoga and the enjoying of all the benefits it brings us.

After a wonderful yoga practice, getting ready to kick off our sandals and take a walk on the sand and sea of Artola Beach.

💫El movimiento hacia el futuro, hacia la felicidad, hacia nuevas e increíbles experiencias, siempre se hace con ayuda de los pies. También utilizamos los pies en gran parte de la práctica de yoga y el disfrute de todos los beneficios que nos trae.

Tras una maravillosa práctica de yoga, estamos listos para sacarnos las sandalias y dar un paseo con los pies descalzos por la orilla de la Playa de Artola.

🌴One of the most amazing things about living in Calahonda, and the Costa del Sol in general are all these amazing sable palm trees.

Did you know these palm trees actually grow underground and establish huge root systems for 6 months before they ever grow upwards?

They store huge amounts of water in their trunk which allows them to flourish in extremely warm and dry conditions.

They are resistant to fire, flood and hurricane damage and can live up to 300 years!

There is a certain profound and tranquil magic about these amazing trees which seems to contribute to the relaxed and wonderful ambient that seems to attract so many people this incredible coast.

🌴Una de las cosas más bonitas de vivir en Calahonda, y en la Costa del Sol en general, son todas las bellas palmeras sable que hay.

¿Sabías que estas palmeras crecen bajo tierra creando enormes sistemas de raíces durante 6 meses antes de crecer hacia arriba?

Además almacenan una gran cantidad de agua en su tronco, lo que les permite florecer en condiciones extremadamente secas y cálidas.

Son resistentes al fuego, a las inundaciones y al daño por los huracanes y pueden vivir hasta 300 años.

Transmiten una profunda y tranquila magia estos increíbles árboles, que parece contribuir al ambiente relajado y a la buena vibra de esta increíble costa que a tantas personas atrae.
