We parked next to Ermita de Sant Antoni, just on the edge of Prades village. Nearly every village here has its own ermita (a small chapel).
Just a few steps from Sant Antoni, we came across a rustic garden area peaceful and full of character.
The route itself was very easy to walk, with beautiful rock formations along the way (which I absolutely love). We also passed a small cave called the “Priests’ Cave”
I’m not sure exactly where the name comes from, but it may have been used as a shelter in the past.
Roca Foradada was stunning. As someone who loves nature, rocks, and anything with a sense of history, this place really felt special.
The formation is made from red sandstone and conglomerate, dating back to the Triassic period, over 200 million years ago.
