🧶 Crochet Training Workshop for Women Empowerment
With the support of Bilille Design Startup, we have launched a crochet training workshop aimed at inspiring women and enabling them to support themselves financially.
For this session, we intentionally selected motivated participants who are eager to work, create, and earn through their skills. The training is designed to empower women to explore creative fields where they can generate sustainable income and support themselves and their families.
🎯 Our goal is to equip women with creative, marketable crochet skills that promote financial independence, cultural expression, and long-term livelihood opportunities.
📍 The training is currently underway through hands-on, physical interaction at the Creative Hub Center, where creativity meets opportunity.
Together, we are building skills, confidence, and sustainable futures.

Ethiopian Artisans in Milan

We are pleased to share a highlight from this year’s Artigiano in Fiera: the visit of representatives of the Embassy of Ethiopia in Rome.

Representatives from the Embassy travelled from Rome to Milan specifically to meet the Ethiopian enterprises — Yelomi Group, Entoto Bete Artisan, Enzirt, and Kabana — supported through a project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by UNIDO. During the visit, they expressed strong appreciation for the achievements gained and for the continued commitment to empowering Ethiopian artisans and women-led MSMEs.

Following the visit, the Embassy conveyed its gratitude and formally recognized Italy’s longstanding support to Ethiopia’s creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem. They also reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to collaborate on future initiatives and events promoting Ethiopia’s MSMEs and creative industries.
