𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐓𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐛 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 conducted an insightful seminar led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐦𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐮, a highly skilled Internist and Infectious Disease Sub-Specialist. The session focused on the 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 and provided essential updates on early detection, transmission patterns, and current management strategies.
During the presentation, Dr. Hikma explained the clinical features of Marburg virus disease, including high-grade fever, severe headache, vomiting, hemorrhage, and rapid clinical deterioration. She emphasized the importance of early case recognition and proper infection prevention measures to reduce spread, particularly in healthcare settings.
