During the session, Dr. Alemayehu Birhanu provided a comprehensive overview of updated approaches to trauma assessment and management, emphasizing the importance of the primary survey (ABCDE approach) and timely life-saving interventions. Key updates in airway management, hemorrhage control, shock management, and trauma resuscitation were thoroughly discussed.

The seminar highlighted the importance of rapid assessment, prioritization, and structured team response in managing trauma patients effectively. Evidence-based practices and recent advancements in trauma protocols were presented, focusing on improving survival rates and reducing complications.

Special attention was given to multidisciplinary collaboration, emergency preparedness, and the role of continuous training in enhancing the quality of trauma care services.

ኢትዮ ጠቢብ ሆስፒታል፤ በጤና ጥበቃ ሚኒስቴር ከዓለም ጤና ድርጅት (WHO) ጋር በመተባበር በሚመራው "የብሔራዊ የታካሚዎች ደህንነት ፕሮጀክት" (National Patient Safety Project) ላይ ከፍተኛ ውጤት ማስመዝገቡን በታላቅ ኩራት ይገልጻል።
ከፍተኛ አፈጻጸም ላላቸው ጥቂት ተቋማት ብቻ በሚሰጠው በይፋዊ አጠቃላይ ግምገማ መድረክ ላይ ተሞክሮን የማካፈል እድል ተሞክሮውን እንድያካፍል ሆስፒታላችን ተመርጧል። ተሞክሮውን እንዲያካፍል የተመረጠ ብቸኛው የግል ሆስፒታል መሆኑ ልዩ ያደርገዋል።

በተጨማሪም፣ ሆስፒታላችን ወደ ደረጃ ሁለት (Level Two) ማደጉን ስናበስር በደስታ ነው። ይህም ፕሮጀክቱ ሲጀመር አንድም ሆስፒታል ደረጃ አንድ ባልደረሰበት ሁኔታ፣ በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ይህንን ውጤት ካስመዘገቡ አራት ሆስፒታሎች መካከል አንዱ ለመሆን አስችሎታል።

The hospital was selected to present its best practices at the official Project Review Meeting an honor reserved for top-performing institutions. Notably, 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐓𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐛 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 was the only private hospital chosen to share its experience.

In addition, the hospital has progressed to Level Two, placing it among only four hospitals nationwide to reach this level, following a starting point where no hospital had achieved even Level One.
