ለቫይረሱ የሚጋለጡበት ሁኔታ ተፈጠረ እንበል፤ ተመረመሩ፤ ውጤቱም ነፃ (Negative) ሆነ።

👉 ነገር ግን እውነታው ይህ ነው፦
ያ ውጤት ለማመን በጣም ገና ሊሆን ይችላል። 😉

⏳ Window Period ምንድን ነው?

👉 ቫይረሱ ወደ ሰውነት ከገባበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ
👉 እስከሚመረመርበት እና ምርመራው ቫይረሱን ማግኘት እስከሚችልበት ጊዜ ያለው ልዩነት ነው።

በዚህ ወቅት፦
✔ ቫይረሱ በሰውነት ውስጥ ይገኛል።

ቀይ የደም ሴሎችዎ ሰላማዊ ህይወታቸውን እየኖሩ ነው… ኦክስጅንን ተሸክመው ስራቸውን እየሰሩ ነው። በድንገት የበሽታ ተከላካይ ሴሎች ጠላት ናቸው ብሎ በመሳሳት እነሱን ማጥቃት ይጀምራል ነገር ግን ጥቃቱ በማይክሮስኮፕ ውስጥ የማይታይ ሊሆን ይችላል
ለዚህ ነው ይህ ምርመራ ያስፈለገን

የኮምብስ ምርመራ ምንድነው?
የኮምብስ ምርመራ(Antiglobulin Test) ፀረ እንግዳ አካላትን ወይም ከቀይ የደም ሴሎች ጋር የተጣበቁ ፕሮቲኖችን ያገኝልናል።
በቀላል ቃላት፡- 🧪 በሽታ የመከላከል ስርዓቱ ቀይ የደም ህዋሳትን እያጠፋ እንደሆነ ይነግረናል።
ሁለት ዓይነት ምርመራዎች አሉት

1️⃣ Direct ኮምብስ ምርመራ(DAT) ቀደም ሲል በታካሚው አካል ውስጥ ከ RBCs ጋር የተጣበቁ ፀረ እንግዳ አካላትን ያገኛል።
ጥቅሙም
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
Hemolytic disease of the newborn እና Transfusion reactions
ለመመርመር ነው
👉 እዚህ ላይ ቀይ የደም ህዋሶች በአሁኑ ጊዜ ጥቃት እየደረሰባቸው ነው?" የሚለውን ያረጋግጥልናል።

2️⃣ Indirect ኩምብ ምርመራ(IAT) ቀይ የደም ህዋሶችን ሊያጠቁ የሚችሉ በሴረም ውስጥ የሚንሳፈፉ ነፃ ፀረ እንግዳ አካላትን ያገኛል።

ከደም ልገሳ በፊት የለጋሹ እና የተቀባዮ ደም መጣጣሙን ለማረጋገጥ
እርግዝና ላይ ያለ የRH አለመጣጣም ለማረጋገጥ ይጠቅማል

Coombs Test

Imagine this:
Your red blood cells are living their peaceful life… carrying oxygen, doing their job. Suddenly, the immune system mistakes them for enemies and starts attacking them.
But the attack can be invisible under the microscope.
That’s where the Coombs Test comes in the lab detective that reveals hidden antibodies attacking red blood cells.

What is the Coombs Test?
The Coombs test (Antiglobulin Test) detects antibodies or complement proteins attached to red blood cells.
In simple words:
🧪 It tells us if the immune system is destroying RBCs.

Two Types of Coombs Test

1️⃣ Direct Coombs Test (DAT)
Detects antibodies already attached to RBCs inside the patient’s body.
Used in:
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
Hemolytic disease of the newborn
Transfusion reactions
👉 Here we check: “Are RBCs currently under attack?”

2️⃣ Indirect Coombs Test (IAT)
Detects free antibodies floating in the serum that could attack RBCs.
Used in:
Blood compatibility testing before transfusion
Pregnancy screening (Rh incompatibility)

በጣም በትንሽ ስህተት ማሽኖች ብዙ ናሙናዎችን ይሰራሉ፣ ነገርግን የላቦራቶሪ መረጃ ሲስተምስ (LIS) ውጤቱን ለመመዝገብ፣ ለመከታተል እና ከጤና ባለሙያዎች ጋር በቅጽበት ለመጋራት ያስችላል።

አስደናቂው ነገር፡-
በጣም አድቫንስድ የሆነው ማሽን እንኳን ከኋላው ሰው ያስፈልገዋል። አንድ ማሽን በሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ ናሙናዎችን ሊያካሂድ ይችላል ነገር ግን አሁንም ቢሆን ጥራቱን ለማረጋገጥ እና ውጤቱን ለመተርጎም ባለሙያዎች ያስፈልጉናል
