Call for Membership Registration

The Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) is a not-for-profit, voluntary, and multidisciplinary association of professionals from diverse sectors.
Established in 1989, EPHA has been promoting better public health services and upholding professional standards in Ethiopia for over 37 years. Through advocacy, active engagement, and networking, EPHA continues to support the advancement of public health in the country. EPHA collaborates with both local and international partners to address Ethiopia’s top public health priorities.

We are pleased to invite you to become a member of EPHA a dedicated Association to advancing public health through research, policy engagement, capacity building, and professional networking.

Types of Membership (Individual and Institutional)
Regular Membership – for health professionals
Associate Membership – for non-health professionals
Honorary Membership – for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to public health or the community and
Lifetime Membership

Note: Anyone holding at least a first degree is eligible to become a member of the association.

How to Register
Submit a membership request via email to: ephamembers1@gmail.com.
Fill out the Membership Registration Form (can be emailed upon request)
Pay the membership fee using the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE):

Send the following documents via email:

* Completed registration form
* Copy of your recent academic credentials
* Scanned bank payment slip and
* A soft copy of 3x4 photograph

Membership Fees
Ethiopian Regular/Associate Member 300 ETB annually
Ethiopian Lifetime Member 3,000 ETB (one-time)
Foreign Regular/Associate Member 50 USD annually
Local Institutional Membership 5,000 ETB annually
International Institutional Membership 300 USD annually

በቀደምትና ነባር የማኅበሩ አባል በአቶ ጥሩነህ ስንሻው የተደረገ የ37ኛው የኢ.ጤ.አ.ማ ዓመታዊ ጉባኤ የመዝጊያ ንግግር

በጤና አክርሞ በቁመና ላገናኘን እግዚአብሔር ምስጋና ይግባውና ፕሬዚደንት አጎናፍር የመዝጊያ ንግግር እንዳደርግ ስለጠየቁኝ ክብር ተሰምቶኛል።

እንደ እርጅናዬና አብዛኛውን ጊዜ በጨለምተኝነት ሳይሆን የበለጠ የደንብ፣ የጥራትና የዕድገት ዕድሎች በመሻት ለማኅበራችን በብርጭቆው በግማሽ ሙሉነት ሳይሆን በግማሽ ጉድለቶች ሳተኩር ዓመታት አሳልፌያለሁና በበጎ ላያችሁኝ ምስጋና እያቀረብሁ ሌሎቻችሁ እህቶቼንና ወንድሞቼን ይቅርታ እለምናለሁ!!

37ኛው ጉባኤያችን እንደተለመደው የመማማር ዕድል ስለሠጠን አደራጆችንና አመራሮችን እንዳመሰግን ይፈቀድልኝ። ስለ ፖነሎች ጠቃሚነትና ስለ ፓነሊስቶች የነበረኝን አድናቆትና የተሰማኝን እርካታ ቀደም ሲል ገልጫለሁ።

ሳይንሳዊ ጥናቶች ወደ ጆርናላችንና መጽሔታችን ተላልፈው የሚጠቀም ቢጠቀምባቸው እላለሁ።

የወደፊቱን የማኅበራችን መንገድ ለመጠቆም ያህል:-

1. ዶክተር ፍቅረአብ ባሳሰቡን መሠረት ማኅበሩ የዲጂታል ጉዳዮች አጥኝና መካሪ ኮሚቴ እንዲቋቋምና ተከታታይ ምክረ ሃሳቦች በቦርዱ በኩል እያቀረበ ቢያዘምነንና ከዲጂታል መሐይምነት ቢከላከለን ይጠቅመናል እላለሁ።

2. የማኅበራችን መተዳደሪያ ደንብ በቅንነትና በሙያዊነት ሳይቋረጥ የሚታደስበት ስርዓት ቢኖር መልካም ይመስለኛል። ምንም እንኳ የአፈጻጸም ቅልጥፍና ቢያጓጓም አቋራጭና የጠቅላላ ጉባኤ ውሳኔ ያላረፈባቸው እርምጃዎች መላመድ አይገባም፤ በእኔ እይታ የትናንትና አይነት የምርጫ ሂደቶች እንዳይከስቱ መጠንቀቅ ይገባናል።

3. ዓመታዊ የማህበሩ ሥራ አፈጻጸም ዘገባዎች (ሪፖርቶች) የበለጠ ዙሪያ - መለስ (comprehensive) እንዲሆኑ እመክራለሁ።

4. የማኅበራችን ሥራ አስፈጻሚ አባላት በቂ ጊዜ ለማህበሩ ዋና ዋና ጉዳዮች፣ አመራርና ሙያዊ ትግበራዎች መሥጠታቸውን ለራሳቸው ሕሊናዊ ማረጋገጫ እንዲሰጡ ይመከራል። የቄሳርን ለቄሳር በሚባለው መሰረት ጽ/ቤቱ የቦርድን ሥራ ለቦርድ በትዕግሥትና በትህትና እያሳለፈ ቢያስወስን እመክራለሁ።

5. የሙያችን መርሆዎችና የማህበሩ አባላትን ክብርና ተገቢ legitimate ሁለ-ገብ ደህንነት የመጠበቅና የማስጠበቅ ሞራላዊ ኃላፊነት ኢ.ጤ.አ.ማ እንዳለበት መርሳት አይገባም እላለሁ።

6 የጠቅላላ ጉባኤ እባላት ቁጥር መጨመር እንደሚገባ እመክራለሁ።

ከብዙ በጥቂቱና በአጭር ዝግጅት የምለው ይኸው ነውና በጎደለ እግዚአብሔር ይሙላበት።

ለሁላችንም ጤናማ ሕይወት፣ ለውዲቱም ኢትዮጵያችን ሰላምና ቀጣይ ልማትና ዕድገት እመኛለሁ!!
