๐ฅ Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College successfully conducted a comprehensive two day orientation on Essential Emergency and Critical Care for department heads and case team coordinators, reinforcing its institutional commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
๐ The orientation was delivered within the framework of the global EECC initiative, which promotes the provision of effective, universal, and feasible life saving care for critically ill patients in all hospital settings.
๐ค In his opening address, Dr. Anteneh Miteku, Main Provost of Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College, underscored the strategic importance of the training. He emphasized that strengthening emergency and critical care competencies is essential for health professionals, particularly team leaders and department heads, who are central to clinical coordination, decision making, and quality assurance.

๐จ The program further addressed structured clinical management of airway compromise, respiratory distress, circulatory instability, reduced consciousness, and other life threatening conditions through standardized and evidence based interventions.
