Africa CDC Youth

Africa CDC Youth The Africa CDC Youth serves as a comprehensive resource hub, providing a wealth of information and resources for youths on public health initiatives in Africa.

27/10/2025

The Africa CDC’s youth streams (e.g., The African Union Bingwa Initiative - , the Youth Pre-Conference, the Youth Advisory Team for Health - ), the Initiative, and the Youth in Digital Health Networks - , are increasingly being integrated into formal structures that feed into policy and strategy.

Furthermore, the Africa CDC Strategy for Youth Engagement and Participation in Global Health (2025-2028) is designed to mobilize, empower, and engage young Africans in shaping the continent’s public health future.

Youth beneficiaries of the Africa CDC Youth activities have moved from engagement to leadership, and they are ready to take over the reins of leading the future of public health in Africa.

From expertise to collaborations and implementation of public health policies, Africa's young health professionals are ready to ensure that Africa is self-reliant and capable of taking on public health issues.

Special gratitude goes to Dr Jean Kaseya for his purposeful leadership.

The future of Africa's health lies in its youth, and that is why Africa CDC is investing in the future, which is now!
