1-The sick animals have been treated and are recovering.
2-Vaccinaton has been given to healthy animals and is being given.
3-To give as much awareness as possible.

Due to being able to control the disease there are no new deathes and sick anials.

The Ohio State University, Global One Health initiative (GOHi) will run summer institute between July 11 and September 30. Most of the courses are virtual and open. Some others will run face to face in Ethiopia and Kenya for targeted group and are closed sessions.

Ethiopian National One-Health:
Ethiopia national OH steering committee has organized revitalization workshop in Adama. The objective of the workshop is to review progress, identify challenges and put way forwards on the national coordination mechanism. The coordination has got different TWG (Anthrax TWG, Brucellosis TWG, Rabies TWG, AMR TWG and Advocacy and communication taskforce). Enhancing the coordination by Strengthening these TWG accelerate the national and subnational OH effort.

AntiMicrobial Resitance Key Facts:

☞AMR is a global health and development threat.It requis urgent multisectoral action inorder to achieve a sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).☞WHO has declared that AMR is one of the top10 global public health threats facing humanity.
☞Misuse and over use of antimicrobials are the main drivers in the development of drug-resistant pathogen.
☞ Lack of clean water and sanitation., inadiquate infection prevention and control promotes the spread of microbes, some of which can be resistant to animicobial treatment
☞Without effective antimicrobials, the success of modern medicine in treating infections, including during major surgery and cancer chemotherapy, would be of increased risk.

The Codex Alimen-tarius Commission (CAC) is a joint intergovern-mental body of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and WHO, which encompasses 182
Member States, one member organization and over 200 observer organizations for civil society participation. The vast majority of food products traded internationally are covered by Codex stan-dards, thus contributing to ensuring the safety of
