Week 45 recap

Second week in a row on morning run. Did as well my first interval session in 7 weeks time and it was pitch dark 😆 Did my weekly Hyrox workout and ofcourse some wall balls because I really need to improve on them 😅

Spent my weekend in Kokkola with family and friends and got to do my runs on the countryside in Såka and went to the nostalgic Urheilutalo gym which was my go to gym when I lived here.

All in all a good week!

Week 43 recap!

My foot felt better and I was able to run in total 28 km this week. My foot still is a bit irritated and painful but progress is the most important sign at this moment at time 💪

Two strength session and one hyrox session with Atte 🔥 Only 4 weeks to our Hyrox double

On the weekend we celebrated 8 years together with with pizza and going to .kaj concert 🥰😍

Was able to increase my running with 3 km this week. In total 28km. In the beginning of the week my foot felt more painful then before during my 12km run, but in the end of the week my foot felt much better during my 8 km run. Sometimes it can change quickly. Maybe my daily isometric exercises have helped 💪😆

Many sunny days but obly one run outside in the sunshine ☀️

2 strength sessions and 1 hyrox session with Atte getting ready for Hyrox doubles in 1 month time at 🔥

Plenty of family time during the weekend when my parents came to visit 🤩

💥Week 42 recap 💥

This week was a better running week. Increased my weekly mileage with 3 km and ran in total 28 km. During my 12 km long run on wednesday my tendon was really painful and irritated but in the end of the week it felt so much better during my 8 km run. Sometimes it can change quickly. Maybe my rehab exercises (isometrics daily + heel raises and rope skipping once a week) have helped 😆💪

Many sunny and beautiful days but only one run outside in the sunshine ☀️

2 strength sessions and 1 hyrox session with Atte 🔥

Week 41 recap 🔥

Got 23 km running this week and my longest run was 10 km and from that my tendon pain got a bit irritated. At least I ran more then last week 💪

Tried reformer pilates .fi for the first time ever and it was really nice! 🤩

What else this week ? Went for a swimming session, watched games, ate burgers and had a chill weekend 😎

Had a break from running once again, just to calm down my foot pain I have had last couple of weeks and that worked well and the foot pain calmed down. Now next how to get back to running pain free 💪

Some slight flu symptoms at the start of the week so only 2 gym sessions this week 😅

At least some cycling to work and many sunny and beautiful sunrises and sunsets almost the whole week ☀️🤩

It was half marathon race week and first time not running for a PB, instead pacing for a friend 💪🔥

My left foot was a bit irritated and painful throughout the week but was able to run without major issues 🙏

Now time to calm down and rehab my foot and put more focus on my strength training for a while 💪 Will ofcourse run too 😉🏃

What a week! Had my 28th birthday on the weekend. Got a new shirt as a gift! 🤩 Had a staycation and got to swim with a view 🏊‍♂️ and went to for a nice dinner 🥳

Went to a ans running event and got to try out some new shoes 👟

Did 3 gym sessions and 2 runs this week. My tibialis posterior got though again a bit irritated 😑 maybe from the calf work and increase of plyometrics in my program 🤔

I signed a new contract with for next season so I will be continue my strength and conditioning coaching there 🔥💪

My first week at my new job as a occupational physiotherapist 🤩 Starting a new job really takes a lot of energy, but always gets easier when you get going!

Got back to training this week after one rest week. Always fun with a new gym program 🔥💪 Time to get working towards next big challanges! 🤩💪

Sunset runs at Seurasaari is my happy place 😍☀️

Haven't been counting my cycling to work as exercise but good to get 50 km cycling in a week 💪🔥

Week 35 recap 🔥

First week after the marathon and had planned to not train that much and just recover mentally and physically most of the week.

Started the week with the flu 🤧 but it got better quickly!

Only 2 training sessions this week. Went for my first swim session in a while! Will try to get it back to once a week again 🏊‍♂️ Did only one other training session and it was a gym session training legs with 💪

After almost 5 years at my current job this week was my last week there! 🔥 Before going towards new challanges 💪
