Week 13 recap 🔥

Got in 63 km of running and body responded really well and that means my delaod week did it's job 💪 Did a monday morning easy run together with and that was a great start to the week 🫶 Ran a 31 km long run with that felt as the easiest over 30 km run ever 🔥

Got in my weekly strength and Hyrox session also, soon I will start decrease my strength training load when it gets closer to the marathon.

Went for a midweek dinner that was delicious 😍

Worked on some sled pull with Hyrox coach 😂

Week 12 recap 🔥

Deload week from training that was truly needed because my body felt tired. Still got 44 km this week 💪 Had slight back pain a couple days but that went away without bigger issues. Ran a 8 km time trial and it felt really good! 🔥😎

Had the first days of the occupational health care course that I'm attending this coming half a year. Had work also on saturday this week and noticed that I was really tired when I started the weekend. Took it easy on the weekend and tried to focus on recovering.

Week 11 recap 🔥

This week my body really felt tired and had several small niggles along the week, but nothing major. Probably the Hyrox race, progressive long run and new strength program was the cause behind that 🤔 Got 59 km still done without any bigger issues 💪 Marathon prep week 11/20 ✅️

Week 10 recap 🔥

A tougher training week 💪 Started new gym program, did first Hyrox training in a while, did a progressive long run and participated in a extempore Hyrox simulation race with 🤝🔥 Can say that I really felt it in my legs 😆

The first week of spring and was sunny, a lot warmer and was able to run mostly on bare asphalt! My running felt really good! 🤩💪

Week 9 recap 🔥

Marathon prep week 9/20 for ✅️ Got back to training after 6 days without training because of my flu 🤧 Got over 50 km running for the first time in probably over half a year and my body responded well! 💪

On thursday I ran in heavy snowfall and got fed up with winter running, but on sunday I was able to enjoy running on bare asphalt for the first time since december 😍

Week 8 recap 🤧🫩

Marathon prep week 8/20 and had a planned deload week. Did an easy run on monday and a shorter upper strength training on tuesday. Rest of the week no training because I caught a cold. Nothing worse but just don't smart to train.

Can't believe that it's already 10 years since 2016 😅

Football was a big part of my life and I was playing for ⚽️🔥

I graduated from Karleby Svenska Gymnasium 🥳

I turned 19 that year and thought I was cooler then ever 😃 I think I'm cooler now then I was back then 😉😂

I lived home in Kokkola back then, but the year after I moved to Helsinki after half a year in the military 💪

Week 3 recap 🔥

Marathon prep week 3/20 and first time running a 40 km week in a while 💯

Did on tuesday a tempo run and then heavy squats and the next day I felt some slight pain in my back. Was able to continue training as normal apart from deloading a bit on some heavier lifting. Fortunately it went away after 2-3 days 💪

Did my long run together with 🤩

Tested out with Atte and did some Hyrox specific work also 🔥

My marathon prep week 2/20. Getting used to running 4 times a week. No foot pain anymore at all and that i'm so glad for! 🙏 Got 36 km this week and slowly building mileage woth the help of

Heavy strength training goes well also and feel that I'm getting stronger, let's hope that continues! 💪

Week 1 recap 🔥

New year and first days of 2026 was this week. Got back to work after my one week vacation.

Started with a new plan towards my next marathon in the spring 🤝🤩

I ran in total 4 days this week and haven't ran so many days a week in a long time. My foot feeling really good! Hope it continues like this 🙏

On monday travelled from Stockholm to Helsinki and on tuesday to Kokkola to spend the Christmas in Såka with my family 🎄

Did only 1 run this week, but it was a beautiful sunrise run on the countryside with my family 😍🏃 Did 3 gym trainings but otherwise had an easier training week.

Tested out a new sport!! Hobbyhorse riding 🐎 Probably not for me 😃

The highlight of the week was ofcourse doing my first official Hyrox race in Stockholm 💪 What a feeling crossing the finish line 🤩

Happy to share this Hyrox with that was supported me on saturday and then I returned the favor on sunday during her race 🤩 On sunday I got some cheering help from as well 🔥

My cousin was also competing and really enjoyed being able to watch her race as well 😎💪

Had a 4 day work week and flew to Stockholm on friday to have my first vacation since summer and that felt really good 😎

Had time to do some sightseeing, shopping and visit Christmas markets in Stockholm 🎅🎄
