💡 How is AI reshaping technology education and research?
These questions were discussed yesterday in our UBF2025 sessions. In the first session “AI in technology education: Smarter learning, Stronger innovation” presentations given by Osmo Kauppila, Kirsi Aaltonen and Mika Ruusunen dived into real-world examples of how AI enhances learning efficiency, supports educators with personalized tools, and bridges the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs.
In the second session: “AI in Technology Research: Bolder Breakthroughs, Bigger Business Value” we explored how AI is accelerating research and turning innovation into impact. From faster discoveries to data-driven decisions, our session showcased how AI bridges academic excellence with commercial success. Inspiring insights were shared by Nina Jackson, Kari-Pekka Heikkinen, Jaakko Kujala, Markku Ohenoja, and Petri Hietajärvi.
🙌 Huge thanks to all speakers and participants for making the innovative spirit of our sessions!
