How event technology supports multi-activity sports events – WiseNetwork at Lahti Ski Games 🎿
Last weekend WiseNetwork’s Jose Laaksonen and Mika Nieminen joined the atmosphere at the legendary Lahti Ski Games / Salpausselän kisat, where more than 30,000 spectators gathered for Saturday’s competitions.
With over 100 years of history, the event is one of Finland’s most recognized international winter sports events, bringing together world-class athletes in cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined to compete for FIS World Cup points. At the same time, thousands of fans gather to enjoy a late-winter festival atmosphere with concerts, entertainment and side events.
The competitions delivered memorable moments – Johannes Høsflot Klæbo once again showed world-class performance, while Minja Korhonen and Ilkka Herola secured an impressive second place in the Nordic Combined mixed team sprint. 🙌
For WiseNetwork, the weekend was also about collaboration around sports events and event technology.
The event is organized by Salppuri Oy, a client of WisePlatform® ERP for the event industry. During the day we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from sports federations and discussing how modern event platforms support large-scale events and customer experience.
Events like the Lahti Ski Games show how an all-in-one event platform can support multi-activity events, where sports competitions, concerts and fan experiences come together in one large-scale event.
A perfect ten out of ten event – thank you Salppuri Oy! 👏
