🎓 Last week, our Year 6 medical students successfully wrapped up their final examinations and immediately had the incredible opportunity to participate in the ECO Care Equity in the Asia-Pacific Conference, held in conjunction with the Pacific Islands Surgeons Association (PISA) and the G4 Alliance.
Hosted at the University of Fiji, Samabula Campus, the conference provided a perfect setting for an international and prestigious event of such scale. Our students were able to network with surgeons and healthcare leaders from across the Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Indonesia, gaining invaluable insights into surgical care.
This experience not only broadened their perspectives on global surgery but also helped them prepare for internship next year, equipping them with knowledge, connections and inspiration as they step into the next phase of their medical careers.
