VEOS is a top-loading posterior fixation system designed to be used in skeletally mature individuals (adults), and in adolescents for specific indications such as scoliosis, for the fixation of the thoracic, lumbar, and sacral spine.

It is indicated for the treatment of deformities (any etiology), trauma, tumors, and degenerative spine conditions (including spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, spinal fractures, spinal stenosis, and non-union). VEOS can also be used in revision surgery in case of failure of a previous procedure.

VEOS offers two ranges of rods :
• VEOS Titanium – for rigid posterior fixation
• VEOS PEEK-OPTIMA™ IMAGE CONTRAST RODS – for semi-rigid posterior fixation

and two instrumentation modules:
• VEOS OPEN - for standard open surgery using titanium or PEEK-OPTIMA™ rods
• VEOS MIS – for percutaneous/minimally invasive surgery using titanium rods and dedicated screw extenders

The CP-ESP® cervical disc prosthesis is designed for the surgical treatment of symptomatic degenerative disc disease (DDD) of the cervical spine in patients with mature skeletons who have not responded to at least 6 months of conservative management.

Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion:
ACIFBOX cages can be used in skeletally mature individuals to treat cervical disc diseases defined as refractory radiculopathy (irradiant pain) and/or myelopathy (weakness) with herniated disc and/or formation of osteophyte and/or spinal cord compression.

🎓 Dr Cruz Olivé animated live demo workshops fostering valuable scientific exchanges on posterior osteosynthesis systems throughout the event.
Invited by the SCCOT scientific comittee (tagguer la société colombienne comme VG medical) he also delivered two insightful lectures on the main podium:
• “Indicación y técnica quirúrgica de laminoplastia cervical”
• “Prótesis de disco lumbar ¿Tiene un papel en la cirugía vertebral?”

These sessions provided an excellent opportunity to discuss surgical indications, techniques, and the evolving role of motion-preserving solutions in spine surgery.

🎓 We were pleased to organize an S2S (surgeon to surgeon) ESP at the CHU de Nîmes, where Dr. Periañez joined Dr. Gras-Combe for a tailored hands-on surgical training.

Throughout the session, the visiting surgeon had the opportunity to observe live procedures, exchange on surgical strategies, and discuss patient cases in depth, strengthening peer-to-peer learning and clinical expertise in spine surgery.

👏 A warm thank you to our esteemed faculty, Dr. Gras-Combe, for his commitment to medical education and for hosting this training, and to Dr. Periañez for his trust and active participation throughout the session.

Rendez-vous le vendredi 27 février 2026, lors de l’atelier pratique d’arthroplastie lombaire par abord rétropéritonéal, organisé par la SFCR - Société Française de Chirurgie Rachidienne, au Laboratoire d’Anatomie et d’Organogenèse de la Faculté de médecine d’Amiens.

Cette journée de formation, placée sous la responsabilité du Pr Johann Peltier, réunira des experts de la chirurgie rachidienne (Pr Patrick Tropiano, Dr Bertrand Debono, Pr Nicolas Bronsard et Dr Olivier Hamel) autour d’un programme associant enseignements théoriques et ateliers pratiques de dissection. Les participants pourront se former aux voies d’abord, à la pose de prothèse lombaire et au contrôle scopique, dans des conditions proches de la pratique opératoire.

À cette occasion, Zachary Hatt - Responsable commercial Hauts de France et région Parisienne - et Loïc Aden – Chef de Produits Senior gamme ESP (prothèses de disque viscoélastiques) - seront présents pour échanger avec les participants et accompagner les chirurgiens.

The LP-ESP® lumbar disc prosthesis is indicated for the treatment of degenerative disc disease (DDD) of the lumbar column in adult patients with mature skeletons less than 65 years of age.

The LP-ESP® disc prosthesis must enable pain reduction, re-establish the lumbar curvature, and reproduce the functions of the disc.
