And this isn't even all of them 😆 As any of my students can tell you, I love props. Balls, straps, blankets, blocks, bolsters, rollers oh my! I even keep a ball in my car to release my hamstring while driving. The cheapest and easiest? A tennis ball. Roll your feet, the backs of your legs, your back against a wall- so many options! And if you really want to get crazy, put two tennis balls in a sock, tie a knot in the end and roll up and down your spine. Heaven. A little self massage goes a long way. What's your favorite yoga prop or as I like to call them, yoga toys? 😉

Ever wonder why you may not sleep as well during a Full Moon? The Moon exerts a strong gravitational pull that causes the changing tides in our oceans and seas. This gravitational pull is at its strongest during the New Moon and Full Moon, so here we experience the highest and lowest tides.

Considering we humans are made up of 70% water, it only makes sense that the Moon would have a similar impact on us mostly-water beings. It's thought that at the New Moon and Full Moon, like the tides, our emotions are pulled to the surface and feelings are heightened.

If you're interested in getting more in touch with the moon cycles and what they mean for you, come join me every couple of weeks as we celebrate the new and full moons. My hope is to hold space for you all to deeply relax, allow for introspection, learn a little astrology, enjoy a sound bath and walk out feeling wonderfully nourished.
