Something personal I’ve been realising lately…
I’ve lived my whole life with ADHD, and I learned to expertly mask it.
For years, I carried the quiet shame of feeling “too much,” “not enough,” “not like the others.”
I hid it so well that even I stopped seeing it.
But now, with softer eyes, I can finally see the truth: this part of me has always been a quiet superpower.
The sensitivity, the intensity, the different rhythm…
It’s what makes me creative, intuitive, alive.
It’s what allows me to feel deeply, see connections others miss, and hold space in a way that is uniquely mine.
What once felt like a flaw is becoming a gift, not by changing it, but by understanding it.
Here’s to embracing the parts of ourselves we spent years trying to hide.
They often carry our deepest magic.
