VINYOGA DESCRIPTION
Our VinYoga is a platform for individuals who are busy with their daily schedules and want to give themselves some time for relaxing and to gain positive energy through yoga practice.
In our daily lives we give our time for many things but did you ever ask yourself how much time do you spend for yourself?
According to many yogis “Giving your time for Yoga is equal to giving time for yourself”
Here are some answers on what our Yoga class gives you exactly:
- There are series of aspects which we follow through which one can relieve their pressure and release stress which awakens their mind in peace by meditation and chanting.
- Refreshing, healing and balancing the temperature of the body by various breathing techniques and warm ups.
- Pranayama is control of breath. "Prana" is breath or vital energy in the body. On subtle levels prana represents the pranic energy responsible for life or life force, and "ayama" means control.
HIGHLIGHTS :
Vinyoga mainly focuses on Kundalini - The practice of postures and meditations in Kundalini Yoga are designed to raise complete body awareness to prepare the body, nervous system, and mind to handle the energy of Kundalini rising. The majority of the physical postures focus on navel activity, activity of the spine, and selective pressurization of body points and meridians. Breath work aids to release, direct and control the flow of Kundalini energy from the lower centers to the higher energetic centers. The energy flows through seven chakras which are points of energy running along our spine reaching brain.
Along with many kriyas (series of postures, breath, and sound that work towards a specific outcome), meditations and practices of Kundalini Yoga, a simple breathing technique of alternate nostril breathing (left nostril, right nostril) is taught as a method to cleanse the nadis, or subtle channels and pathways, to help awaken Kundalini energy.
Every individual is taken care ensuring them to follow the proper breathing techniques, which plays an important role in healing their body and helps in depressed conditions.
Two types of breathings will be taught namely :
1. LONG DEEP BREATHING : Simple techniques by making aware of the full distention and contraction of the diaphragm and the postures for long deep breathing will be taught making it very simple for breath of fire.
2. BREATH OF FIRE : A cleansing & energizing breath, powered by abdominal contractions.Once the diaphragm is felt during Long Deep Breathing then there are a couple of ways in which one can begin to do Breath of Fire, where the air is pulled in and pumped out very rhythmically, just like pumping a bellows, without any tension being felt whatsoever on the abdominal muscles, chest and rib cage muscles or shoulders, which remain relaxed throughout the breath, so that it may almost seem that you can continue the rhythm indefinitely with little effort at all.
Our aim is to make indwelling Kundalini rise through the central channel, this benevolent feminine energy activates the chakras, removing all the impurities from them and nourishing the entire inner system. It is through this happening that we are elevated into ‘thoughtless awareness’, the mental silence of true meditation.
