A few weeks ago, in November, I was joyfully walking the pavements of Brighton and Hove again. They were a little bumpier than the 9 years before where the trees had grown thicker and their roots had protruded higher into the paved walkways.
It had been a good 8-9 years since breathing the fresh sea air there, hearing the seagulls and feeling the fresh crisp winds on my face. Reminding me much of where I grew up in windy Wellington next to the great oceans, yet so much time and distance in between.
I had a week of intense Craniosacral work and wonderful reconnections with genuinely good-hearted friends. Those ones you meet and somehow it feels like yesterday you were in each other’s company. Those humans you have such deep bonds with you know you must have known them in times before this lifetime.
It’s within these connections that keep the joy of human life alive and every encounter a little more heart-warming and opening than the last. The minutes spent in presence are imprints left forever, forming ripples of consciousness in the knowing of why we chose to be human. Enjoyment, laughter, pleasure of authentic conversation. Recognition of each other living our own shoes and walking our own paths. Humbled goodness that breathes its own frequency elevating my soul.
The 5 days of Craniosacral therapy was spent in the present moment meeting the past and the future simultaneously. It created a space of deep support within community that heals and raises consciousness.
I was humbled by the recognition of what our body stores for us. The density and resistance that when allowed a pathway to express (SomatoEmotional Release) can transform with awareness and acceptance, freeing up space for movement and light. Igniting the remembrance of liberation and joy.
Connection of the body with the mind and expression of the soul generates awareness, courage, accountability, acceptance and builds deeper connections to trust our inner self, our intuition and trust in Source, healing.
I was meeting the relationship of energetic emotions and densities finely held in the body and developing more awareness of what’s mine and what’s not… fine tuning sensations of energetic boundaries and shifting into an individual coherence.
As I reflect on the year of 2025 that seemed to pass so quickly, I have so many heart-warming memories of life time friends and family that visited us from New Zealand, Oz, and England. Thank you for coming so we could share this little part of our world with you.
Reflecting on the time spent on the beautiful glacial mountains here in France on skis, snowboard, foot or biking are truly a blessed gift from Mother Nature. Holidays in exquisite parts of Europe and visiting historic castles I don’t think I could top this year off! Of course there are some darker sides to life, like grieving the passing of a dear friend and mentor, a divinely kind hearted soul. However, I like to keep it light and the light shone bright this year!
The best thing in my life that I am so grateful for, is Curtis, who as grows older, seems to do very well at his l’École Française, now he’s speaking a lot more grammatically correct than I. We now get to spend even more time in nature to explore and enjoy this beautiful planet.
