There’s a different kind of space at this time of year.

The noise of the season fades.
The pace slows.
You’re not in it anymore.

And often, that’s when you can feel things more honestly.

What felt tense
What didn’t quite click
What you moved past quickly at the time

Nothing to analyse or fix.

Just noticing.

Because this is often where the understanding begins —
not in the middle of it,
but just after.

If something from this season has stayed with you,
that makes sense.

It might feel that way sometimes
watching others move faster,
feel stronger,
seem more certain.

But you’re not on the same timeline.
You’re in a different phase.

And confidence doesn’t rebuild in straight lines
especially here.

It slows.
It recalibrates.
It asks for a different kind of attention.

Not urgency.
Not comparison.
Just space to move at a pace that actually feels like yours.

There’s nothing wrong with where you are.
This part matters too 🤍

When your body says “not today,” it’s easy to assume something’s gone wrong.

That you’ve lost confidence.
That you should push through.
That you’re holding yourself back.

But sometimes, that hesitation is information.

A signal that something doesn’t feel safe yet.
That your system needs a moment.
That forcing it would take you further away from trust—not closer.

Not every “no” is fear that needs overriding.
Some “no’s” are where self-trust begins.

Listening doesn’t make you weaker.
It makes your confidence more honest… and more sustainable.

Going slower can feel unfamiliar.

Especially if you’re used to moving quickly, holding a lot, keeping things going.

But after a setback, or a shift,
slowing down isn’t a step back.

It’s often your system finding a pace that feels safer now.

There’s nothing to catch up to.
You’re allowed to move at a rhythm that actually supports you.

And that can be where things start to settle again 🤍
