Big News: We’re Going Bulk Billing! 🎉
From 1 November 2025, Dernancourt Medical Centre is proud to join the Strengthening Medicare initiative — making healthcare more accessible for our community.
✅ What’s changing?
All standard GP consultations (face-to-face & phone) will be bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card.
ℹ️ What’s not changing?
Some services aren’t covered by Medicare and may still attract a private fee. Don’t worry — we’ll let you know upfront if any costs apply.

He is a CAT 2 I'll be very clear "CATEGORY TWO" and is forecast to produce DESTRUCTIVE wind gusts up to 155km/h from the Tweed & Gold Coasts up to Moreton Bay Islands TOMORROW - FRIDAY. Strong to damaging winds 90 - 125k will be more widespread across SEQ Coast, Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast FRIDAY. That big blob of very heavy rain on the southern side will come in and hit land as the system gets closer too. It is just the start with 3 days of severe weather to come for SEQ & NENSW.
