I’m nearly back to myself after my recent trip to the US. It brought up more than I expected this time around — I’ll share a little more about that soon.
Since getting home, I’ve jumped straight back into painting and renovations 🤯 but the familiar rhythm of it all actually feels quite comforting at this stage!
In fact, there’s something quite calming about these steady little tasks — small steps, slow progress, letting the mind settle as the house slowly takes shape. One project at a time, this lovely old place is becoming the retreat space we’ve been imagining

Je reviens doucement de mon récent voyage aux États-Unis. Il m’a touchée plus que je ne le pensais — j’en parlerai un peu plus bientôt.
En rentrant, je me suis remise directement à la peinture et aux travaux — et ce rythme familier est presque réconfortant 😅
Ces petits gestes ont vraiment un effet apaisant — un pas après l’autre, au rythme du jour. Projet après projet, cette vieille maison devient l’espace de retraite que nous imaginions.
Doucement mais sûrement… on avance 🩵
