Menopause is a natural progression in the natural order of things. The hot flash (or flush) is infamous as a classic symptom of menopause.

When estrogen drops because of menopause the brain gets the “wrong message” and thinks that the body is too hot, creating measures such as sweating and heat loss (through the skin) to try to cool down the inside of the body.

However, the mind also has a major influence over the body and can be hypnotically trained to cool down hot flashes or hot flushes.

You have the ability to use your thoughts and imagination to literally reprogram your body’s responses.

What the mind can conceive the body can achieve.

I can’t rate Rewind therapy with John highly enough, he explained everything I would have to do and made sure I understood everything.

I had my first session 2weeks ago for trauma I went through at age 7yrs ( sexually abused and r***d), I am 58 now, so many years of flashbacks.

I was very sceptical at the start, honestly as I was rewinding back through the event it changed how I felt about it, playing the event in my head like at the cinema when I was in his car driving towards a car park in very remote area the car was kangarooing along the road, when rewound it almost made me chuckle!

Over the past two weeks I have noticed subtle changes. My dreams are no longer scary and leaving me drained for the day, each dream I had since has been completely different. I'm in control and confident.

The HYPNO DIET is not a new concept at all and in fact it’s been adapted several times by many therapists and weight management professionals over the decades. We don’t just deal with what you eat, we help you to change your relationship with food.

What does the HYPNO DIET consist of?

The group will meet once a week in groups of no more than 10 people. We will have mixed groups for men and women, a group for men and a group for women. These might be held on different days or at different times of the day.

Sessions for each group will be held over a 1 hour period.

Has anyone lost weight with hypnosis?

Early studies from the 90s found that people who used hypnosis lost more than twice as much weight as those who dieted without the use of hypnotherapy & NLP.

A 2014 study worked with 60 obese women, and found that those who used this type of therapy lost weight, improved their eating habits and body image.

I’ll be honest I had never heard of the word “Cessation” until I trained as a hypnotherapist!

Cessation - the fact or process of ending or being brought to an end.
"the cessation of hostilities"

So basically it’s just a big word for STOP

Do you want to stop smoking?
Many strategies can be used for smoking cessation, including abruptly quitting without assistance (“cold turkey”), cutting down then quitting, behavioural counselling, and medications.

Most smokers who try to quit do so without assistance. However, only 3-6% of quit attempts without assistance are successful long-term.

Hypnotherapy increases the rate of successfully quitting smoking with many reported an 85% success rate.

We don’t wave a magic wand and we certainly don’t swing a pocket watch!

If you’ve never had hypnosis before I’m certain you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Our smoking cessation (quit smoking) is a one hour consultation then either one or two further sessions depending on your consultation findings.

During the consultation we will look at the reasons why you smoke, what do you get out of it and more importantly what would you achieve by quitting smoking for good?

Most smokers started when they were younger, maybe trying to impress their peers or just to fit in with the rest of the crowd. For others it was a comfort thing, or a reason to escape for 10 minutes. Once we open up your mind and discover new ways to satisfy those very reasons for smoking in the first place we can replace those emotions required with alternative healthier ones.

We can also apply the same technique for people who v**e or smoke cannabis.
