Eat That Frog! 🐸

Last night I finally slept well — the first time in a while with all this summer heat. My alarm was set for 6am, but I didn’t need it.

The church bells were ringing, the birds were singing, and my girl’s little tip-tapping paws were already welcoming the day. 🐾 I just paused and listened, letting myself wake naturally (and resisting the urge to look at my phone straight away).

Admin has been weighing on my mind for a couple of weeks, but today I chose to “eat the frog” ie tackle the biggest task on my list before the day got busy.

It wasn’t easy, but once I got started, it was as quickly done ✅ . The weight lifted and I found myself thinking: “Why didn’t I do this earlier?”

🌿 Sleep, stillness and starting strong are small shifts that bring clarity, confidence, and calm into the day.

Tasks big or small can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may even find yourself stuck, unable to begin, or unsure which “frog” to tackle first when they all seem the same. If that’s where you are you don’t have to do it alone.

Support can help you find focus, rebuild confidence and take those first steps forward.

🌿 Some mornings feel heavier than others.

It’s 6:30.
The second alarm has gone off.
I’m still in bed, mind already spinning with everything I need to do today…

✅ Journal
✅ Walk and feed my girl
✅ Reply to messages
✅ Bike, swim, run
✅ Check in with loved ones
✅ Work, market businesses plan for Winter.
✅ Chiropractor appointment
✅ Pay bills
✅ Nourish myself
✅ Read a chapter
✅ Speak affirmations
✅ AND Breathe

Yet, all I want in this moment…
Is to pull the covers back over, close my eyes and cuddle my girl.

This is what many days really look like.
Not polished. Not perfect.
But full of intention.

Showing up doesn’t always look like 100%.
Sometimes it’s simply making it out of bed.
Brushing your teeth and getting dressed.

Whatever you have to give today
Maybe it’s 80%.
Maybe it’s 40%.
Maybe it’s 10% and give a whole lot of kindness toward yourself.

🌿 Progress doesn’t demand perfection.
🌿 Consistency doesn’t mean constant hustle.
🌿 And your healing, your growth, your goals they’re all still valid on the slower days.

So if your bed feels extra cozy this morning as mine does and your to-do list feels longer than your energy, tell yourself:

✨ You’re not behind.
✨ You’re only human.
✨Your body might be calling you to slow down.
✨ And most importantly, you’re doing amazing.

Keep showing up for you, gently, honestly, and in your own time.
