They talked for a loooong time, until the topic of learning Braille came up.

She explained to him how long and difficult the learning process was for the students. So together they came up with an idea: to revolutionize Braille education with innovative and fun tools.

Let's take a look back at what happened in January in the world of visual impairment 🗞️

💬 WhatsApp has finally improved navigation on iOS and Android ! This includes navigation in chats with VoiceOver/TalkBack, voice playback of transcribed voice messages and accessibility of the “react,” “reply,” and “forward” buttons

🎲 In early 2026, an independent initiative proposed a label to identify games that can be played without sight: central audio, keyboard navigation, clear sound feedback.

💻 The new version of the NVDA screen reader offers: improved reading of complex websites, smoother navigation in forms, fewer bugs with Chrome and Edge.

Games that are accessible to blind and visually impaired people are important. Here's why! 🤔

Equality : Adapted games allow blind and visually impaired people to feel included alongside sighted people by giving them the same opportunities for entertainment.

Inclusion : Thanks to adapted games, sighted and blind people can play together, which helps reduce social.

Autonomia : It is no longer necessary to seek help from a third party. Blind or visually impaired individuals can play on their own, which promotes independence and, at the same time, self-esteem.
