Exit27 Transformational Healing

Exit27 Transformational Healing I am an I/O Psychologist trained in the areas of business and psychology & alternative modalities. Yet most were advanced healers. Thank you.

I am a FORMER practitioner of energy healing for emotional and physical well being. My clients were primarily advance healers who I have helped go "beyond" traditional and alternative forms of healing to help heal themselves (when needed) within 1-2 sessions. I have formerly lead Intro and Advance DNA/Energy healing/workshops and lectures on my experience with healers from around the world at RETURN OF THE ANCESTORS. This one time event this lifetime was lead by the Mayans and other ancient tribes to help humanity shift/heal in preparation for the beautiful new world being birthed as part of the Mayan calendar. My healing work utilized a combination of modalities that were specifically suited with what clients resonated towards for healing - both ancient modalities as well as futuristic/energy forms - depending on the client. I am no longer providing one-on-one healing sessions, returning to my long-time career as a Celebrity Reporter/Interviewer for a360/Globe and a few international publications. This is very much suited to my personality and professionally with what is going on with the stars who help by their example. It is also the celebs who launched my children's books and eventual nonprofit in the schools/libraries for ten years. These days with my dad passed and my mom getting out of covid, its baby steps to find the funding we need while I work at a career I love! and write/create more Pals books in the future. This job keeps my writing skills sharpened and I will occasionally write healing blogs on this page when needed.

“It’s All About You…. It’s Not About You,”
Years ago in the early 2000s, I wrote my first children’s book called “ It’s All About You” that was never published. It was about self love and development with the need to be compassionate to yourself as you grow and learn about yourself. I wrote this in my thirties as an early childhood development book for youngsters to chart their progress growing up. It had journaling, picture drawing, entry level “sections for their first times going places, and doing activities they loved and a built in ruler to measure a child’s actual physical growth to outline their body, hands, feet, height, etc to chart their physical growth when they reached a certain height to go on rides at amusement parks, etc…. This book title like many in this world were often misunderstood by those who never read the submission. The title implied it was a form of “knowing yourself” as you grow and taught a child page by page how to find self love, to carve out quiet time for yourself, (especially needed at the tender age of a child’s elementary years and as adults), yet the book had nothing to do with implying that one should be self centered and narcassitic like the title was “ misinterpreted” by a few, yet like the saying goes… “ Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” There are many different levels of experiences in this earth walk and not everyone is meant to walk thru the same doors as you. And the worst thing I see people do at any age is to compare themself and their path in life to that of other people. Even before the internet and social media, far too many people compare themselves to others and what they did what they had or what they studied. They are not you and the danger of not knowing who
You are is to lead someone else’s path that is not yours to live or have… That is why we brought in special Pals Ambassador guest speakers to show differnt people, to share their own path, their unique plights and to show their life, who that person is as they progress along their path and how they found their professional and personal life, hobbies, etc, during our hundreds of Pals readings in classrooms it was not apparent on the surface everything discussed in our stem based setting of inquisitive geniuses who “ saw thru the surface” when guests tried to act “ too perfect” sometimes this happens in media celeb interviews I’ve done that the really interesting aspects of a person sometimes don’t make it into
print and though my work in showbiz launched Pals, not all inspiration comes from stars/celebs. There are plenty of exciting people in addition to celebrities I’ve had the prevlidge to meet that don’t work in the arts and they were sometimes highlighted and covered and sometimes just for my own private learning. Yet with children who maybe didn’t have a perfect start with both parents around , my paternal grandparents included, these Pals visits offer up a chance to meet and find out the “ true essence” of differnt people from every day Joe’s to the celeb world. The children may see or know on the surface that a Pals guest is contributing something special
To our world, yet what is discussed is often new learning for the children and educators in the room. Yet authentic people who wanted to inspire kids as Pals Ambassadors is what we looked for. We especially need those that make this world a better place quietly/ diligently, not for recognition, not necessarily in show biz, ( sometimes yes, sometimes no), yet those wanting to contribute to make our world a better place for children. ❤️
We are all here to learn, grow and do what we personally came to master/achieve each incarnation. Not everyone is to work hard or be with their birth family , some are and some are not…A person is not better or worse than other people we meet along the way and snobbery I’ve learned early on, is a form of insecurity, so is conformity “to follow the heard” and try to be someone your not.
Yet empathy and showing compassion to others while you learn to know yourself is/was the true purpose of this first book and any book I’ve written.

In the early 2000’s, publishers loved the idea for “ Its All About Me,” as it was a giant oversized book in concept. One publishing company wanted me to start writing business proposals to toy manufacturers given the expense involved from a publishers standpoint to publish such a book. Perhaps this was why I was lead out west to work in manufactiring initially before returning to celeb journalism, as the concept of this first book was that a kid could open and crawl inside the toy like book as they would write, draw develop, play and know themselves well. The book was inspired by my two favorite things as a child: my Betty Crocker easy bake oven and my many books as a child. I was particularly inspired by a special book my mom ordered for my birthday one year. My mother was always inspiring my creativity as a creative herself. She was an avid reader, cook, artist, tennis player and baker and loved fashion. She ordered a special customized book for my birthday that year from an independent book store she liked to frequent nearby. The book she created was special to me because it was customized to include everything about myself captured in print and artwork. For starters, the book spelled Leslye correctly and had many facts about myself beyond just my name that made me feel special and loved ❤️from the custom pink carnations of my birthday month to other personalized information for a child to read/learn about themself was magical. I remember finding it fascinating to learn about myself. Though my dad often told me “ I was rooting for you to be born.”
The book was completely chosen/developed by my mom and allowed me as a child to realize just how unique and loved I was in this world. Something I wanted every child to feel when I created my Pals books and guest Pals Ambassadors “ live and in person” to inspire the hearts and imagination of every child hearing a person’s story for the first time ❤️🥲 to find love, humanity, strength and inspiration.

My belongings, my first award for my very first children’s book in elementary school along with all my memories of my path were taken from me in northville/Novi. It’s been four almost five years, yet my memory is strong and it’s in my ❤️
As a little girl, we didn’t have fast logistics or the internet and it took several months for this special birthday book to arrive a few days after my birthday, yet it was my favorite present as a little girl and inspired me to create books early on. I would have loved to see and play as a child with a book like my similar concept: “It’s All
About Me,” that were complimented in my 500 rejection letters as being “too expensive conceptually” to create in an over sized book, yet this hard work and feedback from publishing agents fortified my confidence that I had talent to write and create and provided constructive feedback on how to get there if I wanted this particular book published. I realize now on a smaller scale/ regular size too, that this concept for my first book could have worked. Working in the arts I know artists get angry sometimes when someone has a similar concept, song hook, lyric, manuscript, art style, film premise, etc… and an adult coffee book with that same title did get published 3 to 4 years after my submission of my “It’s All About Me”manuscript with the same title by a small independent publisher who created a small plain adult version of this book for “adults only” in a plain black journal with blank pages. My younger thirty something self was angry, yet I can look back today and realize with empathy and understanding how many adults never got to know themselves or to nurture their “ inner child or their wounds. Years later using my psychology cap, I realize an adult version of my book was just as needed as my children’s version to help those who didn’t get to nurture /explore conceptually as a child who they were or who they wanted to be… sometimes it’s taking on parental needs ( married or divorced parents), and other times it’s needing to be responsible at any early age and being denied exploration of their wants and needs. That is why today I am glad the adult version was published.

Yet even though this book was copyrighted, I decided years later for peace, love and unity that Pals Around the World book, Volume 1 on France was more needed in this world and more affordable. Too bad we didn’t get the funding we needed to publish more books yet though with my files stolen maybe more books aren’t needed at this time for this series? Yet glad someone else published my “ Its All
about Me” book for adults to find their inner child. It’s a good master class example of how people may come up with similar ideas to your own sometimes or may improve upon others ideas… I’m not saying I wouldn’t create additional Pals books in the future or not or other works … yet I deserve my things/memories, pc, phone, home, life, work, etc returned that were ripped away in 2020. Never say never.

HEALING FROM LOSS AND PREVENTING RISK of ALZHEIMERS & OTHER DISEASES LIKE PARKINSON’S, ALS and BREAST CANCER. This is my first article on FB in a long time yet it’s an important subject with what is going on the past few years.
Healing from the loss of my father 4 years ago after Covid started, I was no longer allowed to see my mom who had deteriorated quite rapidly with late onset of dementia/Alzheimers and Parkinson’s. At that time, she was privately sequestered from me as she no longer was the mother I knew and loved. Dealing with the loss on my own and other interfering factors like Covid, I took care of me working fulltime outside the home where I had the social support and physical/emotional excercise I needed while I healed. Four years ago this occurred and time is an excellent healer. It essentially lead me to go internally to heal, grow and connect with those who were like family and make new friends/acquaintances going through similar grief/losses. Excercise/ alone time was additionally healing to process and heal this loss. Working in social jobs by day meeting all types of people and connecting to a few friends/loved ones in my inner circle who experienced similar loss was a way of cathartically healing for me and working thru the challenge. Though certain immediate family/cousins and siblings were not there for me, it was the aid of real friends and loved ones at a distance and coworkers that served as my support system -not those who were only around me in good times, yet those who showed real friendship outside of social media. Time is the greatest healer of all and having photos of happy memories/family events of good times has kept me strong and healthy. Yet everyone handles grief differently. That is why it’s important to not take it personally and to respect the quiet solitude of those who have experienced a loss. Some friends I’ve met through work have had heavier family circumstances dealing with the grief/loss of someone close. For example, I recently lost a good friend who was like an older brother to me. He was a really good person, a private person, yet to heal, his family and the people who loved him all grieved and expressed themselves in very different ways. Some preferred new memories away from anything associated with that person ( as it was just too painful to see familiar places/faces associated with that person). For example, I could empathize with my friend that seeing me may remind her of losing him, as dealing with my mom the one time I saw her after my dad’s funeral she cried saying the things I was talking about reminded her of my dad and it upset her. She was stressed too that she couldn’t remember neighbors names or walk much. With her dementia diagnosed, I respected my eldest sister’s wishes and let her preserve my mom’s privacy and dignity as my mom had wanted. I only wish people in this Michigan community the past few years would have respected that as this experience had me empathizing with the intrusion that many of my celeb interviews in LA experienced and a few healing clients go through with stranger’s intrusion/probing and asking personal questions at inappropriate times.

During this process of grief, these are just a few examples of how people handle grief differently. Some prefer the social support of others while they grieve and others prefer to grieve alone. Some display their loved ones “ for show” with tubes up their nose as they are dying while others I know are more private and discreet respecting their loved ones wishes and privacy. This is one of the many reasons I am not on Facebook often to see this…Yet grief goes in cycles and with some families estranged and or experiencing trauma, they may feel they are alone yet they are not. That is when a good therapist is advised to work through the grief. Other times, a family members disease or health challenge is a lesson in self education and how to take preventative measures yourself to prevent the disease if possible.
For example, my friend who passed away was a young man and he had early onset Parkinson’s and Dementia like my mom developed late in life. However, my mom’s onset was rapidly triggered when my dad passed away four years ago. Roughly 1 in 10 men get Alzheimers or Dementia after the age of 45 whereas 1 in 5 woman get the disease and are doubly at risk. It is also statistically higher in Latino and African populations over White populations like my mom and friend who passed away. Therefore, this is everyone’s concern, especially in the United States where fast food/processed foods are most popular and where diets high in red meat, sweets, pastries and other processed meals like tv dinners loaded with sodium are often consumed and contribute to people’s cognitive decline. Eating fresh and clean, staying mentally and physically healthy in your lifestyle with minimum alcohol and zero to***co can dramatically help reverse or heal the starting stages of late onset dementia/Alzheimers. It can also ease symptoms in some ALS/Parkinson’s patients yet there is still much research going on to determine if other factors cause the disease. For now, early detection in a person genetically predisposed to carry this dreadful disease is a start.
Some of the tests/theories that cause dementia/Alzheimers range from pesticides like Paraquat found in Roundup and using aluminum foil to other environmental factors a person may experience early on, yet its more complicated than that depending on your genetics and your gender.
For example, some women with late Alzheimer’s who have had estrogen replacement post menopause after having kids is another area that is still being examined/tested theoretically by physicians as hormone replacement does not necessarily “ ward off” or help prevent it. A good way to determine if you carry the gene is to get tested by your physician. A test for ApoEs can reveal much about your genetic predisposition. For example, A person can have two EpoEs: they can carry EpoE2, EpoE3, or EpoE3 and EpoE4 - if you have one or two EPoE2s it can actually protect you and your brain from developing Alzheimer’s/dementia yet the risk gene associated with Alzheimers is carrying the EpoE4 gene which increases your risk of developing Alzheimer’s by 3-5 times. Though men and women carriers are quite different, it is good to test to see if you carry the gene ( especially after 50 years of age) as eating clean and cutting out these unhealthy practices and eating habits can not only reduce risk of late onset Alzheimer’s/dementia, it can also reduce the risk of other related diseases ( Parkinson’s / ALS, etc).It can also cut the risk of breast cancer in women. Healing to all and stay healthy 🙏✌🏻❤️☮️

I have not posted on here in over three years working fulltime in the food and retail industry. I am not working as a healer for several years with Pals closing as a nonprofit in 2018, yet enjoyed volunteering again reading /educating children with educators a few times a month at the start of 2023. Coming out of Covid, the libraries I’ve worked with in Los Angeles are supportive as are my employers and librarians the past few months in Michigan at Panera Bread until I can soon relocate to a home.
Coming out of lockdown, my approach to working with 3rd to 6th graders is quite different than it was in my early days when I initially started my story time with multicultural children. We ( the librarians and teachers in LA and France), who contributed to my two Pals children’s books authored after my decades of story time Wednesday and Thursday’s after my fulltime work is what made Pals books a success. And those cities and after school programs who included us yet who could not get us funding with budget cuts, we thank you too. All these co-educators couldn’t get Pals as a nonprofit funded, yet they believed in my volunteer story time and these books I co-authored with Al Margolis, Jean Louis Boyer and an amazing international crew of children , guests of all different cultures, developers, interns, web artists and volunteers. At the end of lockdown, the approach this year is quite different. Instead of focusing on reading and comprehension, I personally will be evaluating/observing and facilitating the children’s socialization and critical thinking skills to bring their own unique perspective to the table. A key factor needed in today’s world to broaden children’s understanding of their peers and to engage in active listening as well as dialogue while covering our chapter books. I may or may not have a book club in the future …yet it will have to be books I find that are morally uplifting and educator, parent and child approved. I’m always recommending/ discussing and how we need to assess them from a place/ref. point in history that may sting compared to the present time, yet must be learned/discussed and examined without erasing history.
Books take children places… though funding never came from anyone who lent a name or endorsement to Pals Around the World, I will personally give back with my time when I relocate. Not being able to have children with my path this lifetime, I paid for my program/books from my automotive career in Project Mgmt /International Management consulting yet I do not want or need to repeat this path. This entailed many working hours while achieving multiple degrees (three undergraduate, a Masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, multiple medicinal /healing/healthcare studies and certifications , including reinstatement of my Project Management degree in 2015 and selling my car to fund it so I had not a penny of student debt. These were from respected four year Universities and Colleges in person and part of “ my unique path” not YOUR path or YOUR lineage and you too will find what moves you/resonates with you personally, professionally and educationally…Whatever career you choose, choose wisely by checking in with yourself. Take the time and career tests to validate who you are and what via psychological testing you can find what your suited/interested in doing and than jump to the end result by interviewing /shadowing with those mentors in careers you’re personally suited for.. this will prevent you from spinning your wheels or wasting your time or money. It can help you know you, instead of following or trying to be someone else’s story /career track who you are not… finding your chosen career/educational path to make a strategy that works for you personally and professionally. Happy and healthy New Year and God bless you and your families! 🙏💗💕💗☮️😘
