🌱 The nervous system is shaped by experience.
What we lived repeatedly becomes what feels predictable. And predictability often feels like safety, even when it isn’t.
In Gestalt therapy, we explore how these familiar patterns influence our relationships, reactions, and choices.
What once helped us adapt or stay connected can later become a loop that keeps us returning to the same emotional landscapes.
Awareness allows us to notice these patterns without judgment. And once we see them clearly, something new becomes possible: the freedom to experiment with different ways of being in contact.
Familiar does not always mean healthy.
But awareness opens the door to change.
