Hey ho! Are you sick of paying over the odds for mince pies? Learn to make your own! It’s actually really easy 🥰 There are still a few spaces available for our Christmassy cooking workshop 🎄 you will have your own handmade mince pies and a stuffing filled roast to take home with you!

Included in the price is a non-alcoholic welcome drink (something mulled!), all tuition, mince pies and a roast to take home with you, recipes created by me just for this event and a delicious plant-based Sunday lunch together with new friends!

The next event here with Yoga Pommier is Saturday 13th December 🥰

It’s nearing the end of the year and what a perfect time to give yourself the gift of a morning to relax, renew and restore!

There will be an amazing 1.5 hour class with Kate with some illuminating asanas and uplifting meditations 🥰 followed by a delicious, plant based 2 course brunch, teas and coffee 🤤

I’ve finally gone and had myself a bit of an admin day (I’d honestly rather be out cutting wood or digging holes 😂) and updated all the retreats we have happening here in 2026!

It’s easy for us to not realise how much we’ve accomplished in our lives. It’s easy for us to think every time we’ve chosen rest over extra work that we’re ‘lazy’. It’s easy to swat away compliments from even our closest people.

But wouldn’t it be nice if we could acknowledge ourselves and our lives? The good, the neutral and the bad? Be proud of just BEING every day - because that’s the whole point in life, just BEING.

Anyway, that’s all a really roundabout way for me to say that I’m super proud of everything we’ve done here at HeartSpace House so far 🥰 we’ve officially been here in France for two years (how did that happen?!) and though some days have been less than ‘productive’, they’ve all been a blessing 💕

The first photo is the outside of our yoga barn today, in the low autumn sun, oranges leaves on the ground (it’s important for the ecosystem NOT to remove foliage), the pergola built and the door painted white with lovely little hand painted vines and leaves done by my mum and me on a summer day 🥰

The second photo is from last September, the deck is built, wall painted white and the hot tub is in! The last photo is from when we first moved in - no deck, the old pergola is still up and we’re just finding our feet!

Maybe it doesn’t look like much and some days I forget all the hard work that’s gone into just this portion of our space but today I am choosing to acknowledge and be proud of us.

We will be making mince pies (or mini spiced berry tarts for those who don’t like raisins - like me!), a festive stuffing filled roast, cauliflower & broccoli cheese, Yorkshire puds, the best roast potatoes, spiced cabbage and more! The day will finish with us all eating Sunday lunch together and you will then have your roast and mince pies to take home with you 🥰

The price includes all food, tuition, a festive non alcoholic welcome drink, a midway break snack and tea/coffee. We operate on a BYOB policy if you do want to bring your own alcohol, please drink responsibly if driving!

Our next cooking workshop is all about the festive season! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it’s always fun to enjoy a delicious meal with lovely people!

We will be making mince pies, seitan roast, all the usual sides and more! Giving you the knowledge to easily prepare your Christmas Day dinner - no fuss, no muss! You will be taking home your handmade roast and mince pies so you can enjoy them on the day (or whenever the moment takes you!) 🥰

The price includes a non-alcoholic welcome drink, all food and tuition, teas and coffee, a three course lunch together and food to take home! We operate on a BYOB policy - please be responsible if you are driving!

Got some lovely guests coming this weekend to check the place out before their upcoming retreat next year 🥰 obviously a great excuse to make some sweet treats and get our hosting pants on!

Aww had the best time with our guests on Saturday for the Indian cooking workshop! I think everyone learned a lot and we had the most delicious dinner afterwards! We made samosas, naan, seekh kebab, pakoras and 4 different curries! It was an absolute feast 🥰

Stay tuned for a Christmas workshop in December and Chinese New Year theme in February! 💕
