{The gift of the Wild}
Nature is so present and big here that it calls all of your senses and attention. Worldly affairs, worries and distractions dissolve.
There is an invitation in the air to slow down, pause and come back to presence.
A contemplation that is not forced or induced and feels like an evidence in front of such wild and breathtaking environments where there is so little human presence.
The mind becomes quiet just by gazing at the landscapes.
The breath feels spacious.
The spirit elevated.
The body closer to the earth.
The wild awakens the wild in us and reminds us in a way of our true nature.
The wild reconnects us to the beginnings of time and to ancient ways of being and living.
This makes me feel alive.
I felt this by the river the other day.
That home coming so specific to this land.
The exact feeling I had 20 years ago when I arrived in British Columbia and that I've never felt anywhere before.
